Thanks just ordered for delivery tomorrow. Be good for bit of Christmas day fun. I had £7 reward vouchers not being used so bargain.
Same here, got 1 coming tomorrow , thx
Ok , so what can I do with it

is it just apps or can the kids watch YouTube videos .
Good you got one coming but don’t know what to do with it
shows the reduced price from your link, but in the basket the price changes to full price :-((
Does it have a button? Does it have a QR code (to allow Google VR services to do the right lens correction for that headset)?

Edit: It does have a button, yes!

Use Google Cardboard Camera to take 360 VR stereoscopic photos. Not only can you view them later through the headset (and feel like you're back there again) but the pictures are also compatible with Facebook's 360 photos function too.

Google Earth VR is part of the Google Cardboard app demos - virtually fly around the globe including full 3D buildings etc. This can be quite freaky once you get the hang of it!

Can also be fun to watch some 360 YouTube videos. My favourite is the RT International Space Station video - get a fairly good feel for how small the earth looks even just 300km up!

Thanks for the info Jewelie, I really wasn't sure what to use it with.
Is there a link or something for any games that can be played on it.

Just go to the play store and search for Google cardboard. (Assuming Android phones, don't know what the situation is with Apple.)

HaHa just got it and it should be fun for the kids ... if they can prize it away from me. Worth the tenner .
