Ok, not as cheap as online pre-orders, but if like me you've been waiting to spend Gamestation credit, this is one of the better prices on the High street, in an actual shop. Bought in Bristol today (sorry, didn't check PS3 price)

Proof please? (_;)

Receipt or it didn't happen.

OUCH! You my friend, have been seriously screwed over. Just to make you feel worse, I got mine for £18 during amazons black friday

Come on guys, I'm waiting to buy this. So what that you bought it a few weeks ago and you paid less, as is often stated on here, unless you have time machine. Think about it, how old are you? 8? I wonder sometimes why people go to the bother of posting, if all they endure is ridicule and snide remarks. OK, it's maybe not the hotest of deals, but I can't find it cheaper myself, and I'm looking to buy a copy, so if you can't link to a much cheaper price, then shutTHFU!

While I agree that there's no need to really post comments if a deal is cold (unless it's helpful, like providing a link to the better deal / price), as the temperature will speak for itself, it's also important to remember that this site is not Hot UK Cheapestpriceatthemoment, it's Hot UK Deals, with emphasis on Deals. When people are voting cold, it's usually due to a number of factors such as the price, what it's been sold for in recent weeks, the retailer, and availability. Being the current cheapest price is not always enough.

wow...some people. I'm thick skinned so no worries.

MW3 is a mass market game, most people who don't have the time to search endlessly for deals or be lucky enough to get one of the however many Amazon sold for £18 for twenty minutes on Black Friday (seriously well done if you got that) and will be paying £44.99 for this from one of the major shops or online retailers (it was £44.99 on Amazon this afternoon). This is still the cheapest of those major retailers.

If the average consumer shopping on the high street (and there are a lot of them) can save good money on something it's still worth posting. If you saw someone about to buy it for £44.99 in HMV, would you tell them it's £7 cheaper next door? sounds like you wouldn't, but I would. I think that's what this site is about.

Anyway for those not off to a petrol station in the south of England, these are the current online prices (and at time of posting £37.99 is still the cheapest):

Not sure who that's aimed at. I'm guessing the first few posters with the silly remarks.

Yes, what you said about something being cheaper next door is exactly what I was referring to about posting a link to a cheaper deal. I guess you could always argue that if people are going to just go and buy an item at the cheapest price right now, then they can expect to pay full price for things. Personally, I rarely buy anything without having done my research first. Anyway, keep posting.:)

you do realise this is HOT uk deals? Imagine if we all posted deals with a price which is standard price, far above what they have been?

just cos its not cheaper elsewhere does not a hot deal make!

Plus its cheaper online!
