IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the Expresscard version and not every laptop has one of those (they're not compatible with the older PCMCIA/Cardbus designs AFAIK?)

Bit late replying here but the PCMCIA version doesn't have the 'third button' or a 'scrollwheel' ability which gets a bit trying when you're used to those (the Xpresscard version does I believe)

Yes, only the X54 got the third button and the scrolling capability! I have got them both, the PCMCIA version for my older laptop and the X54 for my current one. They are both great pointing devices, far better then trackpads
