So I just felt better buying from Mole Valley as they do supply to the trade, farming etc and previous experience their products are on par with garden centres for quality. I will be covering mine to make it last that bit longer and was also told that coating it will oil after first use will extend its life, even a couple of seasons and it will pay for itself just on saved trips to the tip.

Oil! That will get the burn going.
In my experience the cheap ones will last about 4 years.

Even better - an old stainless steel washing machine drum. Almost indefinite life.

They do deliver but unless you spent £150 it will cost you P&P

They do have number of stores outside the west country

Great price indeed (although they have been slightly cheaper on Argos ebay outlet) I think the cold vote at the moment is a little harsh, I am guessing this is more to do with the idea that £30 is considered a waste money simply to perform the task of using a secateur, however, if like my Mother you are a keen gardener but suffer from arthritis of the joints these help enormously with the power asisted cutting therefore very useful.

Can anyone find them cheaper? If so please post the deal because otherwise I will buy her another pair at this price.
