Thanks for the heads up. Have ordered a few.

£8 for hand-wash?!

Think I saw in store this is on until 15/3/15.
L'occitance 3 small hand creams are also half price in the JL 150 years tin until 15/3/15 at £11 instead of £22. I know they're expensive but if you know people who like these they're a very good price to put away as gifts.

Thank you for that!

Thanks op ordered to collect tomorrow fab presents

Serious question.. what makes these worth their price? Or is it more of a gift item than everyday use?

Quite educational reading HUKD - never realised that handwash could be more than about £1 a bottle. Maybe I should look further than the 99p shop.

The MB bath foams are more concentrated - but not enough to account for the price difference. You could probably dilute the handwash with 10% or more water and hardly notice. The fragrances are often nicer than cheaper stuff.

But is it worth the price? Probably not but most of us buy something that costs much more than the cheaper ranges - T-shirts from Gap rather than Primark, BMW rather than Renault, iPad rather than Hudl and convince ourselves that it's worth it.

This is lovely stuff. Worth the £8 for Molton Brown.

150 years people! So... erm... we made some handwash to celebrate! Yeah!

I agree - yes it does seem a lot for the money but much better at this price - who doesn't like to have a nice few treats and things now and again - we are worth it

Aldi do a good copy of it.

or just get carex half price at tesco but only 90p lol

Purchased thanks .

Nothing really, except it says Molton Brown on it. Usual case of paying for the name. This stuff is the Apple of the toiletries world ...

£8 for hand-wash?!

I was thinking the same. I always wait till normal hand washes are on offer for £1 or lees and stock up.

this is ICE cold.............

You get what you pay for

Excellent thank you just ordered!

If you're used to paying £16 for this hand wash, then saving £8 on the price is a considerable saving. That's the point. Molton Brown stuff is expensive. Deal with it.

Nice stuff - amazed it's been voted hot on here though!

Only the deluded amongst us; usually those who can't make a judgement for themselves so the 'brand' is their crutch and those who have such low self esteem that they feel it necessary to flash expensive brands. Whole industries are built on this naivety and this product is a perfect example.

PS note the OP's name!

Great price, got some for the bathroom. Thanks for posting

A great deal for those who like Molton Brown. I know its not everyone's cup of tea and you can buy hand soaps alot cheaper (and I do). Molton Brown products are a bit of a luxury item and, as has been mentioned by some previous posters, most people buy something more expensive at times just because of the name on it. Heat added.

Heat from me, lovely stuff.

.... What I don't understand is why people read/comment on posts if it's something they wouldn't go for.

Thats the dumbest thing I've read today. Clearly a comment from someone who doesn't appreciate quality.

8 quid for some soap? No ta.

These people could Sell snow to Eskimos.

People are voting cold because some soap costs more than the Primark outfit they are wearing.

People have enjoyed luxury items since pre-history, it's part of being human. To deny yourself luxury items is weird

One deal posted ever and you feel you have the right to call a HUKD veteran's comment 'dumb'! (_;)
