Flying from Gatwick to Orlando International on 22 August & returning on 5 September. Thought this was a good deal for anyone wanting a couple of weeks in the Sunshine State.

29 August to 12 September £297.53 including luggage

Great deal still in school holidays. Just be prepared for a very basic flight service, unless you pay £25 each for meals. Flew to New York with Norweigan and couldn't get a drink or snack for 3 hours, so take your own

All gone I think?

similar price the week after with Thompson.

Good price, personally, maybe too hot and wet. But HOT deal.

Ahh we were thinking of going in September. We've been in April/May and had no issues with the weather (too hot sometimes though). Have you been in October or December?

December can be a hit or miss. Rarely rain, but we have had it range from 50 odd degrees to 80 degrees. We go first week in December and generally get a few hours at the pool each day, but need jeans and a sweatshirt in the evening.

October is fine but I prefer February/MarchApril

friend of mine had a VERY unpleasant experience with Norwegian Air - refused to give a refund and were very rude to someone who had just lost their mother. would not recommend.

Isn't that what travel insurance is for?

I was in Florida last year over new year. Was around 26-29 each day rained few times but was hot again straight after

Very good deal. Hot.

I don't think they can bring people back from the dead...

Can anyone confirm if this offer is still available? I can't find it.

Thomson Dreamliner flights for end of August are under £300 return

Norwegian use the 787 Dreamliner too. I had two very pleasant flights with them to Fort Lauderdale. Yes, you'd need the food and luggage package (I don't know how Monarch charge) but I'd far rather fly Norwegian than Monarch. The staff were lovely and very professional despite a medical emergency in their galley and a diversion. Voted hot.

thought monarch stopped long haul last year
