This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

As the title says, here we have a Swiss Made Mondaine M-WATCH. It comes with the Mondaine pedigree, very surprisingly both a Titanium case and bracelet strap, 100m WR, a nice screwed down back, hardened mineral crystal and neat case size of 40mm.

Best of all it’s now reduced right down to just £48 and so it’s now IMHO worth a shout. In addition being clean looking and a slim 8mm thick 40mm diameter case in very lightweight but durable Titanium, it would also suit as a “boyfriend” watch, the kind that means the good lady in your life can also wear it. Naturally that may not viewed by all as a good thing. Ha Ha.

Yes, quartz, 100%. If you look at the whole collection, this watch has all the best attributes, namely Titanium, 100m and screwed back.

Thanks
I do like a titanium watch, the strength and weight is so strange compared to the usual stuff, shame it’s so easy to scratch. I’d expect sapphire glass really but not at this price.

The biggest problem with nice watches though is that smart technology is taking over and you can’t wear both - the Garmin and other fitness watches look good and run for a while on battery.

Any watch that relies on me to remember to plug it in and charge it up daily just so it can function properly, is not by design worthy of being called "smart".

All joking aside, whilst I get the smart watch thing and people feeling both the need for them and to be reliant on them, for me personally, a smart watch has nothing whatsoever to offer me in terms of functionality.

To be honest, I have nice Swiss watches but the Garmin Fenix range does such a good job of being a great watch, looks normal and not needing charging daily (2-3 weeks off a charge is possible). It has the main smart features you might want like fitness monitoring and notifications at a glance - beyond that I don’t need or want anything else. Going back to a watch that just tells the time seems like a step back now as I do miss not having to fiddle with my phone just to see a message if I don’t have it on.

Titanium versions of any watch command a premium and are super lite. 100m is a good WR and a screwed back is a good thing. All in all, you will struggle IMHO to find more bang for your buck. Soooooo, if you like it, just go for it.

I have a mondaine quartz. It is jeweled too. Don't ask how many as I've forgotten that bit!

Edit sorry might be the st Moritz that is jeweled .

Apparently they also buy Red & Black Plaid Pyjama Bottoms and quality Oxford brogues ..... so it’s a mix of good and bad.
