To answer a few questions in advance:

1. Yes, you can just withdraw the refund if your bet loses.
2. Yes, if you win with your tenner stake, the winnings are yours to keep with no further obligation.
3. Yes, this offer will be on until the first day of the festival, so might as well avail of it then when you know for sure who's running.
4. Yes, it's open to existing customers and new alike.
5. No, it's not open to you if you've been banned from Skybet promotions in the past.
6. Yes, it's designed to get you betting on the first race of the day and to hopefully then have a few more bets thereafter. Nothing wrong with that; it's a good offer.

If you're applying for a mortgage any time soon, I would highly recommend using a secondary bank account to deposit into your account, as lenders treat gamblers with the same disdain that I imagine they'd treat a drug dealer.
Last year it was 20 Iirc... And the offer also ran every day of Cheltenham. Here's hoping for 4 days again this year.

Just deposit 10. Bet on the race they specify and if your bet loses they were refunding the cash to your account for use the next day within a couple of hours.

So basically this is a no lose bet if you make a bet of up to £10 on one horse in this race if it wins brilliant quids in if not get your stake back up to a tenner in cash (most firms usually only offer stake back as another free bet) I love Cheltenham racing so will defo take up this offer I guess they're offering this to try and attract new customers but I'm already a Skybet customer so happy days and good luck if you do place a bet
I love betting on horses but for some reason, I always end up betting on the losing one.
Is it new accounts only

Are they doing this on the first race of each day again? Had three £20 winners last year 💪🏼

Fingers crossed its first race every day.
Any tips....
Is it only one per household...

Nope. It's per individual's account. So, if 2 adults have accounts, they can each particpate.

I just see in terms and conditions. Per household, ip address etc. Grrr
Good tip. Betting is for mugs
Anyone know If Skybet will be offering this on the first race everyday of the festival?

Not if you can control yourself and only participate in offers like this
Made a bit of money doing this last year 😁

Yes, use the offer whilst doing matched betting instead of normal betting, and guarantee that you win, instead of taking a risk.
not as much money to be made as a few years back, but can easily still make a few £k if you put the effort in.

I came away with £80 profit last year. Took the money out and stopped betting. I'll have another go this year. Just stick to this one race and you can't lose.
Anyone got any tips for this race?

Let’s just hope it goes ahead first it could be delayed
Anyone seen any other decent offers from online bookies? Paddy Power have £10 back as free bet if your horse finishes 2nd, 3rd, or 4th for every race on day 1.
MrKrabs22/02/2020 14:46

Unless you're bonus banned, like me.

I'd love to be banned form a bookie. A sign that your doing things right.

Ladbrokes free £1 bet online I've heard about. Sbk do risk free up to first £20. I did 4 accas X £5. Won 2 of them

Arbing is a great way to lose an account, skybet, coral, Billie's and b365 don't like value hunters. B365 is the only account I purposely take average odds on, only use it for the regular reloads, footie offers, sometimes the 4/1 and the awesome grand national offers they have, I'd be gutted if I lose that account, 13 years old this april. Lost my Paddy power account last year which was another goldmine. Even Betfair bonus banned me!

Merely placing a bet is enough to get banned or limited to £0.00 from some, like boylesports. Known as spoilsports for giving you a bet £50, get a £50 freebet, and then limiting you to 30p once you're about to place your freebet. Means you need to place over 100 bets to use up your balance

Thanks, just checked an old Ladbrokes account I haven't used for years and there's a £1 free bet in there. Glad I read this today as the offer to claim the free bet ends midnight tonight (although you have 7 days to use it).

Never heard of arbing before but after a Google search, I did something similar.... Until the match was called off . Didn't try again.
'Arbing' is exactly what I do (though didn't know that's what it was called)! Betfair used to have a fantastic offer occasionaly crop up of bet £50 get a £50 free bet. I'd just stick both an either side of a Yes/No outcome (usually 'home or away' for the stake and 'draw' for th freebie) and ensure either a small (£10/11) or decent (£100) profit. I couldn't care less if online bookies blacklist me. I've already had at one remove promo offers from me because I wasn't spending any actual money.
£10 on Asterion Forlonge
Asterion Forlonge runs really well and is Mullins trained.

Personally have gone for him and Abracadabra 5/1, Fiddleontheroof 13/2 and Allart 20/1

Made a nice bit of money on this offer last year as well

If you are smart you can easily make money, by spreading your bets out and not being greedy. The killer is the time you put into researching and opening accounts.

Good luck to all

Probably the most disappointing Cheltenham for Bookie offers. Nothing from B365 who have been superb in recent years, and the skybet offer used to be double to above.
Glad I waited now as the odds for Shishkin have got better & it's a cracking horse.
