sorry but I've learnt my lesson the hard way not to buy any speakers "ex-display" or "as-new" .

Monitor Audio is the best, but agree with comment above; if you ready to depart with thousands, better look for brand new ones.

What does this nonsense even mean?

Even more importantly for anyone considering paying this price for speakers, Get A Life.

These did cost 3k, but i have seen them on sale for 1.5k a year ago.
I own myself MA Silver series, they are ok... but i am planning to spend this amount for ScanSpeak drivers and crossovers, and will build my own speakers, which will be top end spec and if you would like to buy similar performance manufacturer speaker you would have to spend closer than 10k.
If someone saying that it is not worth paying such amount for speakers, you havent trained your brain towards high quality sound.
And once you do, there is no way back. Its same like saying Bentley and Fiesta is the same and not worth paying extra. Which is true in a way, but if you admire, why not.

Oh dear, this is so sad. Guess by your comment that you have never heard a top end Hi-Fi system? Stick to your crap quality Spotify and Itunes.

haven't heard these but if anyone is interested kef q900 can be had for £699 from peter Tyson and I think richer sounds...

sounds like a comment that people who don't pay for music would say

Bet they sound great though with or without one

Makes me chuckle a bit to be honest. Most people spend this on a PC that lasts about a 6-7 years whilst you could keep these for 20 years plus. Myself would dump the cash into a really good sub and some lower power speakers.

OFF TOPIC: Im using 4 x MONITOR AUDIO CONCEPT MX1200 600 watt 4 way speakers myself in a 7.2 home cinema setup with 2 x Custom 300 watt Subs and 3 x 200 watt custom built 3 way speakers. you can hear the quality compared to the cheaper makes. audiophiles will spend the ££££s for the best sounds.

Err, well it's not, since Bentley is manufacturer of a car whereas Fiesta is a model of car.

Probably still lives at home with his mum and cycles to work and watches repeats of Geordie shore.Never argue with a fool you'll soon be let down.As for anyone paying this for speakers I say go for it.When you've heard a decent set you'll then understand the true meaning of being a music lover.Monitor audio stuff is great.
