it's not cheap but it's very nice if you like your gin! Yes, you could pay £5 in the local off-licence for a non-branded gin. The deal here isn't about how cheap you can buy gin, it's about how cheap you can get this specific product.

Camelcamelcamel says the best price it has been on amazon is £30.56 so this is very close. Looking around it seems that about £35-38 posted is the going price for this.

If anyone has any gin recommendations then feel free to add them in the comments. Brockmans gin is also good as is Silent Pool (also has a lovely bottle)

One of the best Gins in my cupboard.

My wife has done some extensive Gin research and has settled on Millers Gin. Currently £22.00 at Tesco. Cant comment on Monkey 47.

This and Copper Head are my favourite "treat myself" gins, Martin Millers my regular favourite.
If your missus likes MM, deffo would love this!!!

My uncle goes on about this allllllll the time. No idea what it's like, but he specifically named this one from being on holiday. Cheapest available in the UK. Good find!

What you need to try is 'Pinkpepper' gin, it is superb. Heat added for this post. DRRIINKK!!!

Thanks for the tips, I've now got price alerts set up on CopperHead and Pinkpepper (I'll try them once I can get a good price). I'll pick up a bottle of MM next time I'm in the supermarket.

sampled a few german ones last month... this was very nice... but Berliner Brandstifter was nothing short of awesome!

Copper House my favourite. Haven't tried this or Millers yet though

I'm only just getting into gin after convincing myself for the past 30 years that I hated the taste. Turns out it is tonic I hate. I am no expert but the ALDI own brand one gets good reviews and does really well in blind taste tests. I have tried it and it is good. Probably the best gin you can get £ for £ (it is just shy of a tenner.)

I am lucky to be in central Scotland so have tried some of the nice Scottish craft gins such as Eden mills and edinburgh gin which are pretty good. Not sure how any of them compare to this one, but I can source both locally a bit cheaper than this one. This one is definitely added to my must try list though.

For those who are experimental, I have just joined the craft gin club. I've not had my first pack yet, but you pay £40 and get a 70cl craft gin some mixers and some nibbles. A different pack is delivered every month (you don't have to get one every month though). As a bonus you get your first pack for £30. You can cancel anytime, no tie in.
