The 97's strike back.

Thanks, already have a pair of these and they're great for the gym, ordered another pair as a spare.

these are so ****

Got green ones free with mag sub and stupidly ripped off the plastic from bud. Decent sound and good hold. For the price worth it for athletes

No stock for miiiiiiiiiiiles

For anyone in the midlands like me, nearest stock I can find is;

Currys PC World featuring Carphone Warehouse Leicester
Unit 1 Fosse Park South
Everard Way Narborough

I got one from Castle marina nottingham. Stock at Trinity Square. Didnt check any further

Head added and bought one.

Shame that I bought JVC HA-ETX30-B yesterday from Sainsbury for tenner (discounted price). I found those headphone for £15 in Curry.
So privileged to compared both. In my opinion JVC produces more balanced music but still far from perfect.

Adidas (monster) has better sound insulation, better cable and better colour. Its better for heavy bass headed as bass is very strong however it tops out at maximum volume on iphone whereas JVS is clear on max volume.

A good review for these headphones;

However I cannot find technical specifications for monster headphones whereas JVC produces 10Hz- 21,000Hz which is brilliant in my opinion.

Guess what, I will have to return one as no point of keeping both.

So far inclined toward Adidas purely on the basis of better aesthetics, flat cable and excellent sound insulation. I can turn on equalizer on the phone to boost treble so I can have better music.

For those who do not have stock, feel free to visit your local store. My local store has this one on display for £10 at a discounted price.

there is over 200 in the warehouse. I went to my local store and they ordered a set for me.

Just picked up a pair. Shouldn't moan for £9 but the sound quality really is awful. I'm no audiophile but if compare to a basic pair of apple headphones as a comparison they are miles off. A very muddy dumbed down sound with no clarity. I've not tried running with them but on the plus side they do seem very secure so wouldn't expect them to fall out doing exercise.

I guess their focus is just on bass. They are average headphones with sensitive drivers (so produced more sound for a given watts) with focus on bass.

I will rate them 3/5 where standard apple headphones are 2/5.

To be honest I prefer bass in a headphone, just not at the expense of any clarity of the mid to high sounds. The JVC headphones being a good example of cheap headphones that manage to do this. I agree on the low score for apple headphones which lack bass, but I found them much easier to hear music 'properly' over the monsters hence why I personally found them better sound wise as a generic example that many could relate too.

Still, £9 a great price, especially for how secure they are, although i'll solely be using them for exercise instead of casual listening.

Well agree to some extent. Have a play with different equalizer settings as it helped me. I will be using these only for gym stuff and for sub tenner they are good value for money especially if you misplace them in the gym or break them.
