the sound quality won't be anywhere near as good as the real ones

I brought a set from Kookua or something similar. Came packaged as if it's an original. God knows whether its fake. i'd presume so due to price and being from China. If they are a fake, it's a good copy and I doubt many will know the difference. I brought them for $14 and Dr Dre version for $15. I'd have no issues in buying.

i'll have to wait and see like i said i already have a real pair, i just thought for that price id see.

Fake goods help fund terrorism and criminal gangs, I see it almost everyday in the line of work I am in.

I will never buy fake stuff which this is, remember when you buy something that is fake, its helping make a bomb to kill people. TRUTH!

It has to be fake, its impossible to tell from appearance as the box, and other packaging material are identical.

just rlised now its from dealextreme they are 100% fake dont bother buying these when you can buy some low model sennheisers for that much atleast they will have better sound quality.

This continues to be one of the most retarded comments people like to make. I bet you could trace payments made to numerous organisations selling genuine gear which then fund some sort of illegal activity indirectly.

We pay tax, tax goes to the government, the government use it to make trident missiles, fund our wars etc. And if conspiracy theorists are correct the corrupt parts of the government spend it in even worse ways. How much of our tax pays government members? How many of them take drugs socially? Where does drug money go? Likewise you buy a genuine product, part of the money is paid in wages, a large proportion of people do drugs socially...

So in short, your money will go to these gangs no matter what so do what you want with it as you earned it. The only argument you could make is by purchasing fake goods you are shortening the chain of payments, but if it ends up at the same place anyway, who cares!

A valid argument would be that payments sent abroad leak currency from our country and help worsen the state of our economy.

As for the authenticity arguement, most of these genuine products are made in China anyway so it is possible they have a supply of defects/they keep the production line running at the weekend. Although they are probably fake.

That's illogical. Even if people were to fund these wars there clearly still not going to be funding gangs, and even then by giving it to the government rather than illegal gangs or whatnot it goes back into society rather than drugs or whatnot and at least minimalise the effect of gangs/wars. Yes most stuff come from china but that doesn't change whether the middle man is a crook forging illegal products to steal from real workers jobs (even if they're in china).
I'd rather fund a government and have small amount of benefit to criminals than fund gangs and crooks directly and benefit no one but criminals. Seriously get a grip.

So as buying original goods. They too fund unjustified war..

You have no structure to your 'argument' whatsoever, in fact most of it doesn't even make sense. You seem to be inferring that any money sent to DX (or any other Chinese retailer stocking counterfeit goods) directly funds criminal gangs, that would be libel.

I'm not going to bother dissecting your text but I would suggest you get a grip if you think the government uses all of our taxes to benefit society and prevent wars.

He wasn't being serious

It amazes me that some people think that a complex thing like a pair of headphones can be faked accurately but the box they're in can't...
