I pretty much live off these in deadline periods and I haven't died yet Same as all things in life, moderation is key. If you're drinking 5 of these a day then sure, diabetes. But these have less sugar than your standard Coca Cola from memory - and I'm sure plenty of people chug those down!

Ok, well, sugar doesn't cause diabetes, nor does any food/drink for that matter, go take your uneducated nonsense elsewhere.

God not this one AGAIN? You're dull, very dull. And completely wrong.

yep, 7.6g per 100ml and coke is over 10g.
interestingly innocent smoothies have 11g of sugar per 100ml

Will end up like will from inbetweeners

Store-bought smoothies are just as bad as having a can of coke, they are loaded with excess calories and rampant amounts of sugar. Make your own smoothie at home and it'll be healthier, or better still just eat some fruit.

Heartburn in a can? Yes
Diabetes? No

You are aware that fruit is just sugar too, right? They're all fine. Moderation is key with all food groups.

Fruit does contain sugar, but it is a lot more complex than that. When you squeeze out the liquid from a fruit it loses its fibre structure and therefore our body absorbs the sugar (fructose) quicker. But, if we were to eat it as an actual fruit, the fibre remains and therefore our body absorbs it slower, meaning it is better for us. Also, when we have actual fruit our body absorbs less of the sugar because it is harder for it to absorb it then from a smoothie.

You're still right, moderation is key. But eating fruit is definitely better than having a smoothie.

Some energy drinks actually have 0 sugar, its just caffeine, if you need to cut down on sugar intake.
