People seemed to review this one as being bad long before release. It looks okay and decent compensation for Road Rash not being revived to quench that motorbike racing thirst.

Anyone actually played it and got thoughts on how it plays?

Heat for the price!

HEAT for price and I was very interested in this and then watched user reviews on you tube.... it needs a patch - lag and framerste issues - added to fact modes have been stripped away its a lazy port.

Plenty of user made vids with footage
Yep, this is another one of those games you'd buy just to add to a games collection. There's too many lazy 3rd party game ports on the Switch. To the point where they really shouldn't have ever been released, this is no exception.
Wouldn't play this if it was free. 20 pound for this is extremely cold

Have you not seen road redemption? It's meant to be the next road rash sort of game, designed by some of the team who made road rash.

How is this any compensation to Road Rash? different game, different surface, different bikes, no weapons.

Heat added OP, watched a lot of YouTube vids on this and it looks great. Not Road Rash great but MX great
No online, no local split screen and no track editor. £20 seems the right price not a deal price

I wasn't meaning that it was a Road Rash clone. The comment was meant in the tone of there hasn't been any worthwhile bike racing games since Road Rash. Indeed there is not a lot of bike racing games full stop, most people will think of Super Hang-On and Excite Bike when you talk about bike racing games.

The gaming consoles of today, with the multiplayer internet opportunity makes a great case for RR to be revived. Sometimes think we as gamers don't make enough noise to the right people.

There has been quite a few bike games on PC and other consoles like MUD, MXGP, RIDE etc. Unfortunately Nintendo didn't jump on these but hopefully they are now with the wide range of games available for the Switch.

The only noise they are interested in is the opening of our wallets. For all the big companies they see it as a risk, for what is a (great) niche genre. Why invest time, money and resources on a potential flop when you can re-skin last years best selling game with hidden loot boxes and watch the money roll in as usual?
