To be fair, they had the Hunt Together promotion a couple of months back where plenty of people got MH3U on their 3DS for between 0 to 10 pounds.

To me, the actual game itself gives incredible value for money considering the vast amount of gaming time that's available. It's about 100 hours before you even get to the meat of the game... Though you can also choose to play through it quicker by not going through so many weapon and armour combinations. Part of the fun is mixing and matching and find what works best for your playstyle. I didn't understand the demo but got pulled into the game through the Hunt Together promo.

Buy Buy Buy! Then we can play multiplayer. I can use the Monster Hunter Relay App

I really hated the demo on this. It felt really slow and I didn't really know what I was doing.

On the other hand this is a really good price for either version. I do have a CPP but would this be better on the Wii U?

Was in the same boat - I didn't understand the demo and flounder around for maybe about 30 minutes to an hour. The full game was so much better and the demo was only a small portion of the game - didn't do justice to it. The game is much more than just about hitting monsters until they die.

If you have the 3DS and a Wii U, it's prob better to get the 3DS version so you can play on the go - the main advantage of the Wii U version I think would be the more seamless online experience and well, the larger screen (depending on the size of your telly). You can still play the 3DS version online with other Wii U players via the hunter relay app. All you need for the Wii U is a LAN cable adaptor so that your Wii U has a wired connection to your modem.

Excellent deal, Wii U version is never cheap at retail.

Good deal, though im occupied with GTA

Awesome price. After yesterday's Zombii U deal, the Wii U is looking almost like an attractive proposition.

Go with the WiiU version; the 3ds camera controls are convoluted; I tried the demo and it just didn't feel good.

So you're telling me the Wii U version was £50 originally? Daylight robbery!

GTA V is £50 on PSN right now. That's how much digital games cost.

Need them to sort out system transfer of single games, cross buy and cross play before I'd consider buying Nintendo downloads. With a physical cartridge I can play on a 3DS and 3DSXL but not with digital even when tied to the same account. If Playstation can do cross buy why can't Nintendo.

The demo was a poor demonstration of the game. The full game is probably my game of the year and gives more bang for your gaming buck than just about anything else out there. I've got both the 3DS and Wii U games. Brilliant on both systems. The Wii U version probably just edges it for the online play (the 3DS version can go online, but you need a Wii U console to piggyback on), but either would be a great buy.

Most say the same about the demo, I played it for 45 minutes, it didn't click and therefore didn't buy. But am tempted now.

Whats your point? thats a rip-off as well. Don't tell me your going to defend a £50 price tag for a file of a remastered Wii game with extra content

What would your reasonable price be?
