Looking at the steam reviews a lot of people saying this DLC is not running well at all. Something about a new anticheat system that results in really high cpu utilisation and terrible performance.
I understand it is the amount of DRM/anti cheat which is eating 20-30% of the CPU processes which is impacting performance ... this is over an above the historic Denuvo on this game ... seems insane!

Havent played a new pc game in years but this looks quite good!
Doubt it would run well on my fm2 even with 32gb ram lol
I will stick to WOT and Unreal Tournament 2003!

That brings back memories. They don't make arcade machines like that any more! My first console was the Atari 2600 too. I remember being blown away by the graphics on pole position. How times have changed!

Mind you they still cant beat the old vertical scrolling shoot em ups - i used to be a machine code games programmer back in the 80;s wrote a few games wiith Orlando and Matt Newman on the BBC Micro and CBM64 cant beat Defender,Zaxxon, Nervyron and all the wonderful side scrollers - what has happened to the side scroller blast em up I cant find any for the Xbox One S?

Or how about Battlezone now that was a simple vector game but amazing coding like Elite the maths on a non floating point processor was genius coding well above my pay grade - David Braben was a genius few people realise that ELITE was born on the BBC Micro - nno floating point maths processor and only 20k to fit it all into memory!

I think the side scrolling shootemup is still going strong but it's a much more niche market now and lots are Japanese. Theres a fantastic one I've been playing recently called Devil Engine. I wish I knew how to program, it must be great to be able to make your own games!

Everyone reading crap about performance ignore it... runs at 60 fps all day max graphics. Better than original game performance.

I didnt even know it had cheat protection now but it was damn needed i dont play mp but mp was ruined by cheaters before hand.

Look on twitch at all the mhw games and see how perfect it runs and that mp is actually alive.
