Terrible game

Says someone who likes Family Guy.

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about... Or are just bitter you don't have a PS4 to play the Beta.

Isit bad? How so I was really looking forward to this

Low effort post from him. Here's my opinion. I've been playing the series since the PSP days and I can objectively tell you that it's a game worthy of anyone's money.

The game is deep and nuanced such that it easily allows hundreds of hours of content. Previous titles have been hard to initially get into but MHWorld is the most accessible yet if you're new to the series. It is one of the most rich and satisfying combat games. Fun boss fights after fun boss fights to put it simply.

I bought a 3DS and upgraded to a PS4 Pro specifically for Monster Hunter titles, and I'm not even one of the biggest fans as I'm an avid PC gamer. If you're looking forward to the game I guarantee you won't be dissapointed.

Plus there's a final beta between the 19th and 22nd so one more time to try the game out before release. There will be free monthly updates introducing new quests, new monsters and armour and weapons. Unannounced paid DLC on top of that too.

The UI can be turned off if it's that much of an issue.

Although as an avid player since the PS2 days I can tell you now everything was quite clean going from the latest games and playing on handheld lol.

The maps felt too small for a console game, the monsters went down without a fight. The fire flies take any mystery out of tracking and trying to play with friends was a chore.

It's a step up graphically but it's not going to top previous versions.

If any thing like other Amazon steel book editions, they will be selling it by itself within a month for a fiver.

Firstly - remember it is a BETA/DEMO. Not final version.

- The Monsters are have reduced Health in the Beta. Also a cut timer.
- Fire Flies = more involved Psychoserum. If that isn't a good way of debunking your point about the flies then how about just waving at a Hot-air Balloon to find the location of a monster instantly.
- Friend code system was a temp system in place for the Beta. You will be able to join friends using your friends list in the full game.

See. I knew you knew nothing about it. Silly Brian.

That's the biggest problem with an open beta, they have been used too many times as glorified demos.

Anyone can play even people who know nothing about the game. They do not go looking for the beta notes or more info.

So they come away thinking, this is a terrible game. Then they tell other people it's a terrible game.
Famitsu love it.

I played the beta and hated it.. bland looking game, clunky controls, boring button bashing combat.. Hoped it would be like horizon zero dawn.. Well it certainly isn't..
This game is actually really, really good.
