According to Amazon I still have the order dispatched despite also getting a seperate cancellation email from them later on Monday.Had one problem with Music Magpie previously where they listed a game with amiibo and I just got the amiibo. They gave me a full refund in that instance. Other purchases I always felt I got what I paid for. For them to cover up a load of mispriced games like kids trying to lie for something bad they did though has put me off future purchases.

No-one cares, mate.

To be fair, he's not complaining it was cancelled. He's complaining that they blatantly lied about why. It doesn't exactly portray a trustworthy company.

Excellent offer, quality game.
Wow
Is it better than pubg?
Looking at the review videos..... Lego Jurassic park seems more fun and involved.

Guessing this is the price they meant to put it on this week and not £5.98

A good price so heat regardless, just still hoping for my cheaper copy from them (no order status change on it yet)
Great game, I'm 120 hours in and haven't really scratched the surface. Sure, I finished the story but that is pretty much the end of the tutorial and that alone took 80 hours!

Definitely worth a shot for those on the fence, just be prepared to invest time

Anyone know where i can subscribe for the 10 percent

100% worth it at this price. If you're a new player to the series you'll have some serious learning to do, however if you don't have anything to play at the moment and have some time to invest it's a no-brainer to try it at this price. Even if you feel it's not for you you're guaranteed to at least break even if you sell it on eBay in a month's time. Also, Capcom deserve all the credit in the world for sticking to their tradition of regular free DLC additions and updated quests that they add, which is a rarity in this lootbox era.
I want to buy this but by the time I seriously sit down and play it it'll be £10

Happens all the time though when things are listed at the wrong price. Tesco are notorious for it. No point getting worked up over it. Big companies tell lies, who would've guessed!
Yet you felt the need to gloat over him not getting a deal, even though that wasn't what he was complaining about. Of course people know companies sometimes lie. But actually having them do it so blatantly and right to your face feels different. I wouldn't trust a company that I know had lied to me directly either. Its why I no longer use ebuyer.

Cheers OP, managed to get the 3rd last copy and with the 10% discount it was £21 odds.

Have only played the demo so haven't seen much of the game, but doing a quick search suggests that there are small purple spiders you can harvest for materials called 'Scavantulas' - there don't appear to be any large spider monsters that you fight.

Only mini ones for materials, the big monsters are all Lizard/Dinosaur/Dragon based models

Do you play it solo?
I did the story solo except for nergigante which I called in help for the first time I killed it yeah.

If you're playing with friends and communicating I would imagine it would take less time so long as you're in a 4.
2 player monsters have the same increased health pools as 4 player so best going solo or getting 3 friends to play

Hmm. I'm not keen on finding out what they look like tbh. Thanks for that tho.

A recent game that I played that had small spiders I was okay with was Shadow of Mordor which had them crawling around sometimes. But they weren't so bad because they were mostly insect-like, small, and they were never a central focus, if you looked for them you'd see one otherwise not.

Same - I played both and the spiders are smaller on this game than they are on Shadow of War / Mordor.

You'd barely notice them unless you looked.

Hmm that's very interesting. Might actually take a look then. Thanks for that

If you happen to come across an image that a fair representation of what it's like in game then do post here pls. I'm a little hesitant to Google "monster Hunter world spiders" at the fear that they'll most probably be zoomed in and thus not representative of normal playing view
