Monster Hunter: World Xbox cross region deals - £33.85 @ Microsoft Store

Just purchased the newly released Monster Hunter: World from the Turkish Xbox Store for the equivalent of about £33.85. If you game share with a friend (as I do) you can half the price again getting a new game digitally for about £17 each.

It's 180 lira (Turkish currency) and credit is only available in 25, 50 or 100 so you will have some credit left over whatever option you choose.

Heres the link to the games Turkish region page: microsoft.com/tr-…lqn

The majority of sellers of Turkish xbox credit seem to be out of stock but I will list the 3 I use that are all reputable sites and have worked for me in the past as stock fluctuate regularly

TURKISH CREDIT PROVIDERS

MTCGAME
mtcgame.com/e-p…xst
(only site currently with stock - They have 9.5 on trust pilot.
uk.trustpilot.com/rev…com)

G2A
g2a.com/sea…TRY (only 25 Lira left, which would be a right ballache!)

SEAGM
seagm.com/xbo…key (currently all out of stock)

If you've never purchased from the Turkish region before you will need to provide them with a real place in Turkey as an address during payment (Google Is Your Friend!) so if anyone from Microsoft asks, I live in a McDonald's in Istanbul!

RUSSIA
I know a few people also purchase from Russia so I here's the link to the Russian page for the game
microsoft.com/ru-…lqn

It's 3799 Rubles (Russian currency) which equates to £47.67 so not quite such a favourable price.
However you can get Russian credit for slightly below cost (about 12% cheaper) on this site (use Google translate or a browser with inbuilt translation):
nilt.ru/cat…ka/

So the price from Russia will be around £41.44 if you buy credit from nilt.ru

ALSO, If you do buy the game, why not use Buzz Duraband's deal from yesterday to equip your new character with a snazzy hair do!
hotukdeals.com/dea…301

Hope it helps someone save a bit of money on a new release and perhaps, I'll see you on the hunt!

I think I'm going to wait until it's on sale, given the Xbox stores track record it'll only be a few weeks.
Due to having to buy 200 turkish rupees at about 40 quid this isn't a great deal as you can pick up a physical copy for about the same price.
Good for those gamesharing though.
I got this, Friday The 13th and A Hat In Time for about £68 from the Turkish Store Its been great thus far
The game is worth the RRP, loving it so far!
Played the game for about 15 hours since launch. It's brilliant! I bought the Deluxe for £58 on the PSN store and don't regret it at all.

It's true it's a better price for gamesharers but isn't that the case for all digital games versus physical on xbox. Also the credit left over doesn't disappear after use so you can use it on future purchases from that region (which there will most likely be if you are anything like me!)

Can you play this game on UK region or do I need to keep region changed to play?

You just purchase from the region using the links above with relevant credit and it will appear in your standard ready to install list on your games and apps in the language your xbox is set to. No region switching needed as such you are just buying it from the Turkish Xbox Store rather than the UK one.

So how does one buy from Turkish region without switching region? And do I just use my main Xbox Account to purchase with a Turkish addressed Account?

Have you read my original post? Buy Turkish credit, follow the link above and when it prompts you to sign in use your standard xbox log in, when it ask you for payment redeem your vouchers (you'll need a Real address in Turkey).
It's probably only really worth doing if you game share with someone...

If you have a close friend, partner or family member who has similar game interests you can put each others accounts on your xbox and have access to each others games as each digital game comes with a licence for 2 xboxes. So effectively you can halve digital purchases. Here a guide -

This.

I keep telling myself... Stop buying at launch... Stop preordering...

Because there's always a brilliant deal 2 weeks later.

Xbox One X hurt me hard!
