There is no need for higher priced cables, but this site is about finding a cheaper price on a specific item ... heat added

depends on the length of the cable - quality counts for a lot - having found out the hardway when a 10m cable can't transfer a 1080p signal but the same cable of 1m no issues!!!! very annoying when laid under floors!!!

NEVER BUY ANY MONSTER PRODUCTS - they are a bunch of bullies that try to drive legitimate companies out of business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I find ebay's pretty good, got a 1.3c 2m HDMI cable for £1.69 and it's as good as any other cable I've come accross!

Absolutely re 10m+ and as documented by the HDMI.org at
hdmi.org/lea…c=7

But this is a sub 3m cable:
hdmi.org/lea…c=7
"...HDMI technology has been designed to use standard copper cable construction at long lengths..."

Still everything has a personal value and if people want to throw their money at things like this then it is their personal decision, though I'm sure there's an adage to cope... "fools and their money are soon parted" is mine.

Did you not test the cable first? :whistling:

At last someone posts a deal for a cable that can send 2's as opposed to the simple 0's and 1's of lesser-priced stuff
