Please bear with me as this is the first deal I have ever put on here! Just went into my local tesco metro (in southsea, portsmouth) and they seem to be getting rid of the Monster Ripper cans (yellow ones) They are the normal size ones (500ml) and are 34p each! Bargain as when they are on offer they are normally £1! The other monster cans were all the normal price though so is just the Ripper one! I have no idea if this is a national offer or just in this store but thought i would share! Will try and upload a pic of my receipt later on!

Care to say why? I thought all these things we're basically as much sugar and caffeine they could get in a can but didn't know any we're any worse than the other. I'm quite partial to the two monster juiced varieties myself - ideal at 3am in the middle of a boring nightshift.
i wouldnt. its still a deal....
Tesco at Sidcup is a complete rip off. Been saving so much money since I switched to ASDA at Bexleyheath
Isnt Tesco at Sidcup the same a Tesco everywhere? I dont think the Sidcup Tesco charge more than any other.
I have to agree that i think Asda is cheaper in the whole though. But i live in Sidcup so not really going to travel to Bexleyheath/Swanley just to save a few pounds.
I've spent the past 10mins trying to find the article for you which details the results from the experiments conducted in a lab. This was done under a scope, not on human subjects. I can't find it. But i did come across few sources suggesting Monster was the worst. However, These sources did not provide relevant evidence or link the evidence to support their statement.
By all means, If you healthy and not over doing the energy drinks then your not at risk/I think i remember it as needing 7pints of water to flush your kidneys of the 500ml can of monster. That's a lot of water just to clear the trace of something that could progressively lead to Kidney failure. They found Red Bull sugar free to have the least effects. This test was done on a same equal measure of the drinks. Incase you were thinking of course red bull sugar free is the best for you, the can is smaller so less to drink and damage you.
There was a point at university where i found myself going to the shop every morning to perk myself up with a can.
Soon quit that out, and later found out that if i did continue at the same rate for a much longer period of time then the effects would be damming.
It's easy to think that it's harmless, since it is a readily available soft drink for any age.
Kids need to be aware of the consequences of this stuff. Monster have their marketing down perfectly, with the extreme sports image. Not fair to section out Monster though, all energy drinks are bad for you. Just monster is the worst for you.
where did you get your ones from? same part of the country? x
ah brill thanks, its been driving me insane! was even considering going to wetherspoons just to have a cheeky drink!!
only thing u can 'Emerge' from after that is the toilet after wretching.
