If you are buying these, then yes. But you should think about what your requirements are now and in the future. In general, Olympic stuff is more expensive. If you'll be lifting 120kg+ now or in the future, you might as well put your money into Olympic, as eventually you'll be reaching the max rated weight of standard 1" bars.
Ok thanks for letting me know so I’m better of ordering an Olympic barbell with these too ?
Standard plates fit a 1" diameter bar. Olympic plates fit a 2" diameter bar. Bumper plates fit a 2" diameter bar, and every weight plate is the same diameter (competitive powerlifting etc). The 1" bars are fine for normal use, but usually have a modest max weight they are rated to carry (the one I have is 115kg). Olympic bars will usually be rated to 300kg+ as a minimum.
What’s the diff between normal and Olympic plates ?
I love these plates ,Usually off ebay, I have picked up a couple of hundred kilos in total from various manufacturers as the good prices pop up every now and then. This price is as good as it gets, and these plates are pound for pound the cheapest option for Olympic plated you are likely to find, even the used options don't tend to come as cheap as these.
