Read the full post before commenting. It won't be this price until the 25th :whistling:

Could someone with one of these say whether I could fit an a/v receiver on the shelf?
Dimensions are 435x151.5x329 - WxHxD

Thanks

classy!

I have one of these already from about 3 years ago. Still going strong and holds around 200 DVDs

Very nice deal. Will be sure to pick one up!

"Finish" = plastic - ghastly.

these are great got one and fits ps3, sky hd and a sony amp:)

I also have one of these units, been going strong for the last 4 years, survived a house move. Perfect fit for our 50" plasma. I don't think it has a tacky plastic finish to it at all...

Not plastic at all. :x

Very hot, very nice, and great deal

Definitly Sturdy, ours has an old 28 " flat screen CRT TV sat on it that weighs a lot. If I remember correctly there is actually a fifth 'foot' supporting right in the middle of the unit, as well as the 4 on each corner.

Can't recommend this highly enough - moved house about 6 months ago and was looking for an oak-effect stand to accommodate 32" telly, foxsat, 360, dvd and amp - amazing how few stands actually have space for 4 bits of kit - spent *days* trying to find something suitable - and every day I'd start looking for units a little more expensive than the day before - in the end I was looking at £300+ units, or even getting someone to make the things. Then, looking through the argos catalogue one more time in desperation, I noticed an "also available in oak" that I'd never noticed before - went online for a look and found this at half price, around £33iirc. Went straight out and got it and never looked back. Looks great, plastic handles are the only slight disappointment - went together piece of cake, is well built, easy to run cables through and even has a couple of drawers for my 360 pads, headset, cables etc. Absolutely perfect for what I wanted.

Bargain at this price. H+R.

Thanks for this. Reserved for store pickup tomorrow. Fed up of my glass unit

Seen this thread when it was first posted and saved it to my favs to get today. Just been and picked it up. 2 boxes and weighs about 32kgs so wouldnt recommend any old ladies go picking this up from store . Thanks op.

Cheers, voted hot and reserved

Agree - take aprox an hour and half and easily assembled by 1 person.
Very good quality with no glue or pins required, it's screws all the way.

Would be interested in getting the the display cabinet in the same range.....but it's not in the sale :x
