I tend to find it useful on long hikes to Lidl, as the long dual carriageway can be quite deceiving on a gusty evening.

In particular, when you pass a side road the lightweight material helps you skip across without undue concern about being caught out by a passing delivery van etc.
I, personally, will be using mine for trekking through the frozen wastes and inhospitable climate of Glasgow. In the summer.

Good find I have a rab generator pretty similar in spec mine is hoodless, if using in mountains you will appreciate the hood. The rab generator alpine is the equivalent and the price is much more..These are great to carry on wild camping trips or anywhere in the hills where lightweight gear is a must. Equally good for those that feel the chill in the evenings around a camp fire, or near to the coast.
The Gold looks pretty cool too! If you were going to the moon or got lost mountain rescue will definately see you! Lol!

Windburn or frostbite more like!
I’m going to send the link to lily Allen . Sure she will appreciate the savings she will make sending 3000 of these to the cold, needy refugees camping outside in Calais
