Like their pens. Not a fan of their watches usually but it looks decent.

Good saving 🏻
Good saving and MB are a legit brand, not a fashion brand.
The MontBlanc MB 24.17 movement is based on the Sellita SW200 so should be reasonable to get serviced.
Very Tissot PRS516 esque, which I like, but other than brand, I cant really see the added value here.

Good call, I was looking at the Tissot last week.
41128084-yaeBp.jpgI really fancy a salmon dial, and this example from their heritage collection is awesome. Probably not to everyone's taste.
.... I'm put off by the price unfortunately.

I have the pevious model with the ETA2836-2. I did think of the Tissot when I posted, but only the strap.

One of the nicest watches I've seen in a while. Thanks

Yup, agreed, beyond my wallet but very good looking watch
Looks great but I will stick with my Oris - heat added.

I like some of the older montblanc but most of the new look like they're worth about 100 quid
I'm not that keen on this - love or loathe it, you could not mistake the old Timewalker...
What a beauty
I'm here trying to justify my self buying a watch for £1230.......£1230!!!!????

Their heritage collection is good and that salmon dial is gorgeous. I am also a big fan of their 1858 collection but sadly both are beyond my price range. Heat for the saving on this one but this watch doesn’t appeal to me.

Rather have the ETA in the Tissot.

Again same as last "Luxury" watch post.... Where is that £ being spent?

On the 100m WR?
And the under £100 movement?

Paying for the name, just the name because the Tissot will be as good or if not even better for less than half the price.

Half price. Cheaper than many used examples. I'd say it was a great deal. I seriously doubt whether the Tissot will be as good, look at it this way could you imagine the Tissot being priced at £2460, you've got to be kidding.

Seriously doubt?

How would this be better then?

You have just almost proved my point - brand ignorance.

You assume it's better because it's more expensive and have prob seen adverts and endorsements for the brand.
Heat for the price, I don't like this newer style of MontBlanc's

Nothing against Montblanc, I have this one.(stock photo)

Gash tbh, but subjective I suppose. At least it's not four grand like they usually are.

Horses for courses but not to my taste.
Mont Blanc have some stunning watches in their range though.
