To secure this deal, please call Tesco Mobile SIM only hotline on
0800 433 4990

N.B.
This deal has no cashback as it's not available online. However, you can get it instore.

What you get for a tenner?
----------------------------------------------
on a 1 month rolling contract, you get:
* 750 minutes
* 5000 texts
* 1GB data
* Standard/Micro/Nano SIM

- Tethering is permitted
(except on iPhones - though some have reported that tethering works on iPhones too.)
- Optional 4G for £2.50
- Min. of 30 Tesco Clubcard points each month (triple Clubcard points per £1)
- for more than one number on same account, get extra minutes or data with their free Family Perks.
- Good customer service (UK based call centre)

PS
* This deal doesn't tie you to a 12 month contract.
* Tesco Mobile uses the O2 network. So if your phone is locked on O2, it should work with this SIM
* Existing Tesco Mobile customers can also request this deal (dial 150) if your contract is due for renewal or you are on a 30 day contract.
* You can obtain this deal instore too.
* There's no Credit Check either. However, they verify your address with credit/debit card you pay with.

PPS
You can pay extra to increase your data allowance from month to month:
=========================
2GB in total for £2.50 (1GB extra)
3GB in total for £5 (2GB extra)
4GB in total for £7.50 (3GB extra)
6GB in total for £10 (5GB extra)
8GB in total for £12.50 (7GB extra)

UPDATE: 14.11.12
----------------------------
If the Tesco Mobile rep. is unable to offer you this deal, you can always request the £12.50 offer (750min, 5000sms, 2GB data) and then downgrade the data to 1GB in the following month. This will reduce your monthly plan to this deal, thus paying only £10 from month 2.
Alternatively, (depending on your usage) reduce the data further to 500mb and pay only £7.50pm

in Summary, try any one of these deals and then you can change the data allowance, as required.
A) The £10 SIMO deal (750min, 5000sms, 1GB data)
or
B) The £12.50 SIMO deal (750min, 5000sms, 2GB data)
or
C) The £7.50 SIMO deal (750min, 5000sms, 500MB data)

Yes they do.
Included 'Nano SIM' in the deal text now. Thx

I was on a similar deal, with Tesco, but with less minutes. I've just upgraded for free. THANKS!!

What deal were you on, if you don't mind me asking? I am with Tesco on a rolling one month contract at £10. This is only 500 minutes, 5000 txts and 1GB data. They best sort me out!!!

Also, if you require something less. Then they also do a £7.50 tariff 500mins, 5000 txt and 500MB 1 month rolling contract

Make sure you request the lowest cap, because they have since introduced flexi-cap

Yes

I rang could only get it with 2gb of data for £12;50 anyone got a link to this deal

I was on 750mins, 5000txts and 500mb of data £10 per month for 12 months. They upgraded me to 1000mins, 5000txts, 1GB data no problem at all as I was keeping on a 12 month contract. Definitely worthwhile!

Doesn't seem much different to GiffGaff. Tesco has more minutes (750 vs 500 on GG) but GG has more texts (unlimited vs 5000).

And Giff Gaff has unlimited data for £12.50...
Not a bad deal! But im sticking with GG

It's a std. tariff limited to instore/tele-sales (not onine).

Yes they piggy back off the O2 network, as do giff gaff.

I don't know about ramraideruk, but I have just come off a £30p/m 24m contract with 750 min's 5000 txt's & 500MB data for an HTC Sensation but didn't fancy upgrading when all the big guns release their new handsets around the march to april region and didn't want to keep paying £30p/m when I seen their one month rolling sim only deal which was 500 mins 5000 txt's & 1GB data for £10p/m.
I don't need 750 mins but did need more data than I currently had.
I called them to 'upgrade' in the form of a downgrade to sim only and they said I could have the sim only deal and keep the 750 mins which I was currently on so effectively receiving the deal the OP has posted.
There was me thinking Tesco were giving me a personal touch deal. How silly of me.

I was thinking about staying with an HTC handset and seeing what comes out next year but thanks to all the hukd peeps boasting about the nexus 4, I think I might just grab myself the nexus 5 and stick with my sim only deal.

I'm very happy with tesco mobile, don't forget you get triple clubcard points on your contract, family perks and there is a possible 4G upgrade but haven't looked into how much extra they charge your for it. Not to mention the safety buffer to cap your overspend on your tariff (mine is set at £2.50 = max monthly spend of £12.50)

That's the deal I was on. I phoned them up and they switched me on to the new tariff from next month.

Better than naffgaff!

Thanks. It's limited to certain cities at the moment so if it comes out in my neck of the woods I'd probably go for that. Seems like a cracking price to me

This is available in-store as well. I unexpectedly got it on Saturday 2nd November at Tesco Rutherglen. When I was expecting to get 500 mins / 5000 SMS / 1Gb data, I ended up with 750 mins instead.

I got this with 2GB of data for 12.50. You also get £5 credit for Blinkbox

Do you know many people who use more than 5000 texts a month? Also Tesco has great UK customer service that you can actually talk to, unlike GiffGaff.

As Ade901 has mentioned, if you dont mind getting tied into a 12 month contract you can get 1000 minutes, 5000 texts,1GB data for £10pm

shop.tescomobile.com/sim…nly

Currently, I am on a £10 pcm (1 month rolling) contract that gives 250 mins, 5000 texts and 500gb of data. I just called and they put me on a £12.50 pcm contract that gives 750 X 5000 X 2GB and after a month I can reduce the data allowance to 1GB and my bill goes back down to £10. So for a 'one off payment' of £2.50 my ten pound a month now buys me an extra 500 minutes and 500 mb of data a month. Thanks for posting!

True. That was part of my feedback to them. Love the UK call centres. Jobs for the people ! I called them so change just before my latest bill of £30 was due. When I got my email notification my bill was just £10 which was a real nice surprise so kudos to them for that. I was fully expecting it to be £30 so top marks Tesco

How is there overall network coverage and speed?

I am liking this deal. My current O2 contract expires soon, and I may well take this up. Cheers.

@Daku007, Tesco Mobile is actually O2, they run off their backbone and in the 3 months I have been with them the service has been great. Coverage is spot on and it appears to be a UK based call center if you need to speak to anybody if that's a bonus for you?

Tesco are ramping down their sim costs recently; I signed up to a 12 month contract with 500 mins, 5000 texts and 1GB of data for £10 a month 6 weeks ago!

I've rang up to order and they said It's £10 for 12 month and £12.50 for the 30 rolling, I asked the lady to double check and confirmed ??

Looks like she's using SMS as instant messaging.

Pls Introduce your daughter to Whatsapp, a proper instant messaging service with unlimited sharing of text messages, pictures and voice (audio) data. Only downside being access to the internet as connection is via wifi or mobile data.

I live in London. I'm very happy with their speed and coverage.
