Great find, thanks...just reserved one at my nearest store. Will be a great stocking filler gift for our son.

Heat and rep added..

I work with someone called Dave Moon... I DEFINITELY wouldn't want him in MY bedroom!

:prop:

great find was looking at this yesterday and was full price thanks :-)

Looks great, you can also pick-up the 'Solar System' for £14.99.

Great price also, but I have a £5 Argos voucher to use up so will be getting it for £5.99 woohoo..:)

I bought mine from the other HUKD link from Amazon at £12 delivered but I might just pick up another one as a birthday present for my nephew so thanks

good find. unfortunately we got one almost at the double price
it is a good find and also good item but it does not have power adapter which adds another task to your list to change batteries

Says there is a promotion with it:

"Free astronomy CD with this Explore It! item. Offer is included in pack, please note it will not show in your trolley. Offer ends 22nd January 2010."

One reserved!

Not very economical on fuel these things! "Requires 4 x AA and 2 x AAA batteries (not included)." :?

Hot deal... thanks! Rep added.

Son loves the moon so will use as a nightlight as he won't sleep without any light (only 2 but he won't be able to reach it and is good with remotes.

(Just stocked up on batteries from tesco - promotion on 4packs of 4 Energiser AA batteries for only £6 so should last a while).

Are these any good?

No. Not even ok. Good price, no doubt, but truly rubbish. My daughter has one hanging on her bedroom wall and I'm sure that she hasn't pressed the button on the remote since the day it went up!

Ditto !

These are totally crap !!

Takes far too many batteries for the little features it has and it has a novelty factor of about 10 mins if your lucky !

Took mine straight back for a refund !!

Has been listed a couple of times at higher prices.

Some very positive comments from people who have bought it.

According to previous posts the batteries seem to last a long time & the kids (in general) appear to love it.

Guys, just so I can be sure, is this actually having the real moon in your room (and if so, how are Argos selling it, and how is it not disturbing astrophysics of tides etc), or is it a small novetly toy replica?
Thanks

It's the real thing

These are great if you have young children. We bought one at this price a couple of weeks ago for our 4 year old and both him and our younger son who is 2 love playing with it at bedtime (and when they get up in the mornings!). The batteries have not run out yet.

I get a free "moon in my room" every time I get undressed. Its difficult to see it though ....

hahaha jazid, have some rep for that

great for kids who like a light on when they go to bed as it turns off after 30 mins

Just ordered for pick up tomorrow, my 20mnth old is obsessed by the moon, he's going to love it!

Thanks, ordered one, looked a bit better than the solar system one after reading the reviews.

Just a thought but isn't it cheaper just to open the curtains?
