I just replied in the other thread about my Onkyo 674 and Mordaunt shorts......Would recommend these.....xbox sounds great and together with the amp produce a nice sound. no distortion until way past my comfort zone...

I bought these speakers over a year ago and paid £109.99 for them, they are top quality.

what kind of bass/sound should i expect out of these

I've created an account, put my email address in for VIP club, but can't get this deal. what gives?

same for me, can't see the deal after registering / signing in.

They're good for movies (I have a pair as my rear surrounds) but they're not great for music... as you'd expect considering their tiny dimensions.

marcosdjcm, you probably don't realise just how tiny they are from the pic above. When you see how small the mid/bass driver is and the speaker cabinets themselves you know they're not capable of producing very low lows.

Still, good price if you're bung them for surround speakers or a small HiFi for a bedroom etc. If you can find them in stock...

They won't give massive bass compared to a pair of floorstanders or a system with a subwoofer. The sound quality should be very reasonable though, easily outclassing most all in one systems.

By the way note that Mourdant Short is owned by Richer Sounds, hence the good prices

I got these about a year ago for £130, this is an absolutely ace deal. Perfect for rear surrounds.

Dimensions: 175 x 107 x 145

had a pair very similar to these (except bi-wireable and black) for about 5 years, can't fault them for sound quality and are small enough to fit in my tv unit
think I paid around £150 at the time from Richer Sounds in Cardiff

Why dont you drop them an e-mail, here - "][email protected] or phone them, here - 0845 900 1230

What's the crack in-store when you go for a VIP deal? What evidence do you need you're in the Club? Copy of the newsletter enough? :?

And if you ring first to check if it's in stock, will they hold items a few hours?

cheers , nice info.

Just got a pair of these today to go with my bigger 902is that I got for £95

They sound perfect for rear speakers. Obviously the bass is not as good as the bigger speakers, but the sound and clarity are very good, especially for £50!

They are really tiny, handy if you do not want speakers filling up your room.

For those who are worried about the VIP member prices, I've received the emails before and just verbally quoted the prices to the staff. They've always been happy to match and never given me any grief.
I've always found the staff there good peeps, friendly and helpful.
