I popped in my local and they had loads of blu-rays but most of them had stickers on saying that they had been professionally refurbished then re-sealed.
Still awaiting blu-rays to hit the isle of wight poundlands. Guess the boat fare is too extortiante

Same as the DVDs.... they come from music magpie.
For a £1 does it matter if they're second hand?

Still cheaper than Music Magpie sell them for themselves.

They frequently have a mix of refurbs and brand new. Just depends on the films.
Seen the odd one with refurbished stickers, but always appear new to me, the ones I have purchased without this sticker on in other words.

They're still Poundland down there? In Orkney, Poundland is called Dealz (part of the Poundland Group), and everything is £1.20. Presumably because of the additional transport costs.

Sorry im too young to know what betamax is. Still use videos tho. Blu-Rays never seem to venture to the island poundland stores. Even asked management to look out and message me but nothing.

Yeah 3 Poundlands. Ryde, Shanklin and Newport. Had 2 in Newport at 1 time over the road from each other but they only opened the 2nd to take over the 99p shop which was there then when the time was up they closed the 2nd lol
Seems to be less and less Blu-Rays in the London stores I frequent. However I did pick up The International (Clive Owen) last night in the Camden branch, and a couple of weeks ago grabbed Predestination and a few lesser titles in the Harlesden branch.

The Shanklin store used to have some but its all gone a bit quiet. People probably buy the lot if they come across some and flog at car boots
only DVDs at my local
Picked up The Shallows, Mission Impossible (1) and Real Steel! Bargains

They had loads more at my local one, Green Lantern in 3D - ridiculous film so couldn’t bite at even a quid
Wigan store got a few decent ones in before Christmas, a la those posted on here. Really enjoyed Goosebumps but no luck in Wigan yet. Most of the recent blu-rays have been marked as pre-owned but they seem like new when opened. Either way I don't mind picking as new blu-rays for £1 for movies I enjoyed at the cinema and would watch again
This is mental
I picked up Sabotage, Expendables 3, Good Kill and Ted in Chester, Sealand Rd a week ago and the Green Lantern 3D in Flint, North Wales.

My family is now pretty sick of being dragged to Poundland..
Anyone in the Southend area who reads this. They tend to get their new deliveries on a Fri. Last 2 weeks late afternoon they had a new batch.
Not seen the used stickers on any of the blu ray so I presume they are new.
EVERY time my local get a delivery they only ever get dvds. F****ing stupid c***s.
£1 for movies is incredible value. I hope this does well for them!
