So an over 50% saving on cost new!

Also i asked if their where seats in the back and if it was paneled

not sure how accurate their XX reg is, if you click on the vehicles at the bottom they show as 43 reg, 13 reg etc.

very odd

55 means the amount they have in stock i think. Very confusing.

Still a good price if 0 miles. As far as I know 59 plate is not any better is not an updated version of the release antara. Hot deal.

"The RRP on the SUV is over £22,000.00 (What the dealer told me)." :w00t::w00t::w00t: Are they having a laugh?! :?

"So an over 50% saving on cost new!" - more like down to a price people might consider paying for a Vauxhall! :whistling:

These are Opel/Vauxhall Antara Commercial's.
You can't get them here from Vauxhall Dealers generally, but peter vardy has bought
a bulk purchase of them (because i asked the dealer why they where so cheap and
as stated, bulk purchase, but he said the RRP is £22000 and i think plus vat).
But they would all go on 59 plates.

i know the non commercial version goes for over £22,000 brand new from the vauxhall website,
but again RRP price are their to be shot down, and maybe get a better deal.
But like most items in the UK the RRP is just their to make it look better when companies finally reduces their items to a decent price to make them look cheap and like a great deal.

Picture shows an Opel badge - are these grey imports?

Looks a bargain. If its no import and standard car you can sell it to Webuyanycar for a profit!

its his son

Loads of things online about this vehicle getting really really poor MPG compared to the figures given in the Vauxhall brochures.

Probably not "grey imports" (as grey imports are technically from outside the EU).
But they are imports none the less (probably excess stock from Ireland or sourced from Gibralter, Cyprus or Malta), so presumably manufacturer's warranty only (which is fine for same makes - e.g. Honda, where the full 3 year warranty is a manufacturer's one, but rubbish for others where the last year or two is a dealer warranty).

Even so, £11,500 inc. VAT for a commercial SUV ain't too bad (even if it is a Daewoo in disguise ;-)).

Can you get £2000 scrappage on commercials

bit thick - did you say this had seats???

It only has two seats. Offer is also available from some other scottish vauxhall dealers. I know it is available from buckie, elgin, dingwall and inverness and they will deliver to england for under £300.

Website makes no sense - not even sure what you're getting for £11.5k

yes

I rang them and they won't give any discount for scrappage. Also this is definitely only the 2 seater with big load bay.

Nice if you want one for a business, but as has already been mentioned they only come with two seats and you can not put any additional seats in, so not for me.

if you want one for business surely you buy a proper van for that price - pity cos if it had proper back seats it would be a bargain

I'm not surprised, given it's such a cheap price and an EU import (AFAIK the scrappage scheme covers brand new UK sourced cars through the proper dealer network, not pre-registered or EU imports).
