Morlands Old Golden Hen ale (500ml) was just £1 in my local Morrisons, down from £2. Appears to be a new national offer as there were plenty of stocks by the entrance along with the other offers but still shows up at £2 on their website.

    Another rubbish Greene King generic beer. They bought Morland out several years ago & promptly closed the brewery. Morland never brewed this beer during it's lifetime so how do they get away with calling it Morland?

    They bought the name with the brewery (but you probably knew that)! That's how much of the beer business works these days (but you probably knew that too). At least they didn't invent a Spanish name and charge a premium for a mediocre 'lager' brewed in S on T!
