Morphy Richards soup maker. No longer available for home delivery, but I just reserved one at my local store for collection, so definitely worth a try if you have a Dunelm mill in your area.

Well done! Great buy. I saw it a week ago but all stores near me were out of stock. I have a soup maker its a great product.
Still available where you live, do they even have electricity, all places I've looked are not available. Good deal as still available to buy even though it may be limited to a few places.
Oos
Ha...Yup. Still available for postcode LA139RU, even after I've reserved
Our of stock in all 5 nearest to me!!
Love my soup maker good
Price !!
Out of stock at my nearest 4 stores but Enfield is showing as available. Good deal but I don't want one bad enough to travel 22 miles for it!
Ohhh I couldn't find any near me or my in laws, glad some people have got one, it's a great deal and a souper machine!
These are awesome. Just be warned that some foods (e.g. tomato) stick to the bottom during the boiling phase, burn and then trip the thermostatic cutout. Quite a few people have experienced this, but it's easy to avoid (give those foods the occasional stir).
I just use a regular pan and a hand blender. Works fine.
That's hot. Got a different brand for Christmas, and really like it.
None in the North east ☹️

Do you do this on the cooker, or do you build a campfire in the garden (_;)
what's wrong with a pot, a lid, and a hand blender? oO

A campfire would be superfluous if I have cooker, wouldn't it. Just like this device if I already have the means to make soup.

I can't understand why people buy cars. What's wrong with a horse and carriage?

ha ha, can't argue with that logic!

Completely misses the point, as said, if you have a car, why would you need a horse and carriage and your comment implies that, like a car over a horse and carriage, this device affords some great advantage over a pan and a blender. It doesn't.

Besides, it's cheaper to cook soup using gas not electricity, so you'll also save on energy costs as well as the 24.99 up front cost.

And if you buy less stuff, that's better for the environment too.

Have you got a kettle, or do you boil water in a pan on the hob?
Oh no! I really wanted this soup maker, but couldn't find one at a good price so bought a Tower one, which I am a bit disappointed with:(

Have now returned my Tower soup maker for refund. Think I will go back to saucepan and blender - simply more reliable.

I don't find it practical to boil water on the hob personally but some people do have a kettle that they place on the hob and get along fine.

There are advantages and disadvantages to using something like this. Disadvantages include things like the cost, and also the space the thing takes up in the kitchen.

It may bring some extra level of convenience but I'm not convinced by that very much.

I don't have a blender.
Great product ! peel veg - chuck in maker - amazing smooth soup in 21 mins / chunky soup 28 mins. I paid £ 55 but worth every penny ! absolute steal at this price !
I had one of these. It only worked twice then went faulty. Common theme on the tesco reviews of this item.

Agreed. Think this is a fantastic soup maker (tried a few and they've all failed after very little use). Does what it says on the tin and at this price it's an absolute bargain.
out of stock from all local stores, no good...
Own one for a few years already and can't recommend more...

Some on amazon warehouse for £35.... Or you could buy 70 cans of cream of tomato at ASDA (just saying)
I was going to post this deal 4 days ago once product was in my hand but I ordered from the Coventry store I got my reserve code and was going to collect the next day they had two in stock. Guess what the next morning I get a call from one of the staff to say the item isn't in stock and they won't be getting any more. Well stock level showed the only place local to me that had stock was Coventry two of them I even got the reserve code in the email.I couldn't help feeling the staff took them the next morning and than rang me to cancel my reserve code. For two items to go missing over night I find that hard to believe.

Nothing, better for your rhubarb too.
I bought one of these last year and loved it for the first couple of batches and then it went wrong. I replaced it with a hand blender and was grateful the soup maker went wrong. Not only does the blender take up much less room, I can use it for many different purposes. Also, I have more control over the soup that I make, I I want some ingredients smooth but others chunky / whole, I have the control to do so. It takes a little more effort, but well worth it.

The soup maker is also a bit of a pain to clean well; you cannot soak the stirring parts as they are integral to the electric mechanism.

This happened to me. Best thing that could have happened. I enjoyed the soup maker, but realised that a hand blender and saucepan give much more flexibility (and take far less space)
