£140 ha dont make me crease!
Seriously this is a great product, i have one. Heat.

My experience with these has been poor. Got one after reading good reviews last year. Lasted 7 months. Morphy Richards replaced, but you only get the remainder of warranty, not a new warranty. Second iron also only lasted 7 months, even when using MR's own 'special' water. Got a TeFal with a 4 year warranty for £130 from Very on Black Friday, so at least if it fails I'll be covered for 4 years. I had a Bosch before the MR, it also failed at about 15 months. I guess moral of story is if there is an extended warranty and it's cheap, take it.

Morphy Richards at £140....phew!

Do you regularly descale your irons? I had a bosch approx 8 years which actually still works but has too much of limescale build up so I've replaced it with the morphy Richards. Hoping it lasts as long as my bosch one did.
Not much to go wrong with irons other than limescale blocking them up.

The only thing elite about this Murphy Richards effort is the price....

I live in Scotland, so limescales isn't a huge problem, but yes I cleaned it out every time the light came on. Which was a lot, which seems weird given lack of limescale here. With Morphy Richards I actually bought the special water bottles they sell with crystals in that you fill up from - so it never had tap water in it, always deionised. Even then, the descale light came on every 3rd or 4th iron and I only iron once a week for about 90mins.
