300w is about right for £35! Not the inflated £70!

I have this mixer in red, it's great for cakes but useless if you want to make dough, even though it has a dough hook with it

paid £20 and few pennies for the one in red in sainsburys last week 70% off ...still good deal love mine worth a check if you got a sainsbury near you

If you bake enough to justify having a stand mixer buy a proper one not a toy.
A wooden spoon and a good balloon whisk will be a better investment.

Lol... "powerful" 300w.

crabby

300W is a toy ! Even the most basic Kenwood Chef is 800W and a Magimix 1000W . My stick blender is 600W and to be honest it will probably do everything that this will do & more besides.
It's often said about buying cheap & buy twice, and this is a good example, because although it's cheap it won't work as a food mixer properly.

I have this in the red, it is fine for cakes, which was the purpose of this purchase.
