A great deal for a large capacity name branded slow cooker.
Reduced from £34.96 to £23, although worth baring in mind that branded slow cookers of this capacity (6.5 ltr) are more usually priced closer to the £50 mark. Lots of great reviews for this particular product also which is always nice to see.
Family sized slow cooker, also comes with 2 year guarantee.
Note: Although Aldi do have a deal on a similar sized non-branded slow cooker at £17.99 - i chose this branded model instead for only £5.01 more as if i'm leaving an appliance cooking all day, i felt more confident buying branded electricals... Though if my house burns down you can all laugh at me for not having bought the Aldi one.
So hotness of the deal may for some depend on if you prefer recognised electrical brands, as non-branded can be found cheaper at present, but considering this is not very much more, i consider it a good deal and this is the best price i've seen on the Morphy Richards!

I've got one of these and it's very good. Nice price too

This has been £23 on Amazon too but you can usually get cashback at asda through the usual sites so this tops it. And, the Morphy Richards 6.5l is a great slow cooker. I also saw the one at Aldi, and Argos were selling a Cookworks 6.5l for £18 but I opted for the Morphy Richards for the same reason as you. We already had a 'cheap' 3.5l and the Morphy cooks so much better. That's not to say the cheap ones don't work mind. We're keeping our cheap one for desserts ;-) Enjoy

Thank you ...I'm already really excited to cook our first 'slow cooker meal'! I've just bought all the ingredients for beef in a red wine sauce, now i just have to keep the hubby away from the red wine long enough for it to make it into the slow cooker! oO

Bought one of these two days ago for the same reasons. (prefer branded cooking appliances)

Just couldn't resist it any longer especially at this price.

This is hot for me, just ordered using code awcat13 to get it down to £20.70 and hopefully I'll get 5.05% cash back with TCB

Even better!
I'm googling delicious slow cooker recipes as we speak... Hopefully this will be something even i can't go wrong with! Hahaha
...Whack it all in, switch it on, come back x-hours later to a tasty meal! *In theory. Some actual cooking skills may be required*

Anyone got any decent slow cooker recipes they want to share?

Great - used code and got it for £20.70. That's one Christmas present sorted!

Thanks OP, I ordered this for about £23 from Amazon last weekend as they were due to have stock in during the week, however they still don't and Amazon don't seem to be a seller for the one I ordered and the order value has gone to £0.00, so I think it may be cancelled, so I've ordered through ASDA.

Thanks.

Cooking classics like chilli and bolognaise work well in the slow cooker. Also a fave in our house is pork shoulder, butter beans, chorizo chuck in whatever else you want with that and come home to a delish filling dinner great with mash or even lazier micro rice pouches! We love our slow cooker. It's done a steak pie filling a chilli and a curry this week

Should add mine is unbranded and was a freebie given to me & hasn't burned my house down yet! But this is still a hot deal!

We have had one for a few weeks now and has already had lots of use.

Think I might order one of these x I have a 3 litre cheapie asda one which has been great but this may be better so I can make extra for OH's dinners x

Well after our first use of this i can say i absolutely LOVE it!
The beef in red wine sauce was amazing, it's so easy to use and the food turned out perfectly!
As a slow cooker novice, it was crazy to me that the pot doesn't need watched over or stirred at all, it really was so easy, and i could not be happier with the result.
If anyone is thinking about investing in a slow cooker i'd certainly recommend getting one.
This will definately will be getting LOTS of use in our home, have been googling for recipes and there are thousands of different meals so getting tons of ideas
Love that we went for this family sized one too, easily enough for several adult sized portions, so we even froze some of our beef in red wine for some super-easy and tasty meals another evening. I also intend to make some of the kid's favourites and portion them up too, to take the pressure off at meal times too.
...Wish i'd got one years ago!
