I already have had this vacuum for years, but it eventually broke down. Went to purchase again and was shocked at the prices elsewhere (£120).

Purchased one of these from Argos just after Christmas for around £60, after the Henry decided to give up the ghost, and it really is a great machine - very powerful and picks up just about everything in site. As we've got a dog it's incredible just how much hair you pick up with it! Great price.

Agree, it is a top vacuum, hence why I have purchased again. Top reviews everywhere as well.

A henry gives you 400 air watts for a 1200w motor,

This is 265 Air watts with a 2100w motor

Although a henry is at least twice the price and requires bags

2100 Watts! I'm not surprised you have to turn the power down, that's more than a lot of electric fan heaters!

Probably got excellent suction, but its not exactly going to save the planet with that power consumption, is it?

I thought everything was supposed to be getting more efficient, but not in the realm of vacuum cleaners, apparently.

ordered thanks

Don't give up the day job.

I have owned this for about a year or so, got it from Argos for £49 once in a deal.

It would suck a golf ball up a garden hose.

i bought a Morphy Richards hoover and its brilliant....very powerful suction.
Recommend!

Forgive me, i did read every post and the original thread post but i can only see it for £55.16, is there a voucher code i need to put in? Sorry again if i have missed something.

This vacuum started the day at £47 and in the last 3 hours has went up to £57. Still around half the price of anywhere else, but happy for anyone to expire if they feel this deal is no longer any good.

Ahh, thank you for verifying, at least i wasn't going loopy
Shame it went up.

In the last 3-4 minutes it's gone from £55 to 57. Rotters.

The vacuum has 2 years guarantee BUT if you register it in less than a month after you buy it on their website, you get 3 years.

Mine broke down a few days before the 2 year guarantee expiration. Called them up and said they would send a special bag by mail. When I would receive the bag, I had to call them again so that they would pick it up from my house.

After a week and still no bag, so I called them up again. Then they said they wouldnt pick it up and I could choose a new one from their website. So now I have the new one and the broken one.

£66.66 now, just ordered still alot cheaper than elsewhere.

Okay, deal was just over £47 when I posted this morning...latest price is £66.66. Think someone is taking the proverbial.

Still a good deal, but obviously not as good as £47

3 months ago I bought from Argos for 49,99 , now is for 129,99

Only a deal at around £50 not at nearer £70 !

wasnt expecting the green party but in response, with the slightly more than average power it cleans quicker which means cuts in the vacuuming time which saves electricity which ultimately saves the world!

I got one and the bit where the hose attaches to the adapter (which then attaches to the vacuuum cleaner) sheared off after 13 months. Its a weak point on the hoover as you are tugging at the hose to move it round the room. Would not reccomend.
