Got this in white from Argos a couple of years back for purely decorative purposes, so as much as I can't attest how good or bad the knives are, it certainly looks decent on my worktop.....
Wish it was a single piece of metal rather than just a hollow metal box with black plastic holes for the knives to go in.

The stainless steel is also for sale at this price btw.
If you really wanted the cream you can get it from Groupon for £28 delivered here: (probably less with code/cashback) non-prime people just buy a cheap add-on item rather than paying the shipping!

are the knives actually any good?

I've had a set of these for a couple of years and they are still very sharp I've ordered another set whilst st this price they're a bargain
Purchasd thanks
The blocks that these knives sit in are the number one place for germs (ahead of the roof of your microwave), make sure you soak in boiling water on a regular basis!
they also have some other colours for the same price
These bargain knife sets are a waste of time. Take what you would spend on one of these sets and spend it on one decent chefs knife. It's all you need. Apart from maybe a bread knife.

I disagree, I brought a set of bargain 'Richardson Sheffield' knives from Argos a few years ago and they're still fine. I've never sharpened them or looked after them in any particular way.

Knife blocks kill more people each year than shark attacks. True story.
