Think it's been around this price before on Amazon, you can get one for £29.99 delivered from Morphy Richards Ebay outlet, box damaged with 6 month warranty, a few of the less popular colors are only £24.99 too. This is an ok price for brand new though.

Green and Blue versions were on here Monday. 19.99 at Co-op electrical stores. Possibly why you're going cold.

Great kettle though I paid £45ish for the black version (With catelog points I may note I wouldn't want people thinking I would even contemplate wasting that amount of cash on a kettle normally).

Hot from me-red was one of the more popular colours hence why it still retails more than green and blue. Like Mrwani, I too paid £45 for the black (cold hard cash!) but it is a beautiful kettle
