Don't bother with this, pain to use , dissemination dissemination little space due to filter, top keeps popping open
Disagree with Reading1800 comments. Living in Birmingham the water has a distinct chlorine flavour to it, these types of kettles make a real difference to a good cup of tea. I've got one of these and yes the reservoir is limited but other than that mine works fine. £15 is a good price for this item.

I found it a pain to use aswell, ended up returning it for a more traditional delonghi pyramid kettle but it depends on the water quality in your area. Some people might find the pros outweigh the cons but i do think that morphy richards/brita should improve the design aspect.
Strange thing is that it states on the water filter jug destructions not to let filter contact boiling water? So the filter bit of this is just a gimmick!
Heat added as it an excellent price for this kettle.
I have this kettle, had if for over a year, the lid keeps popping up near boiling point and carries on boiling until you manually switch it off, not happy as Sainsburys tell me its now outside of its 12month warranty and ill have to contact Morphy Richards. avoid
Kettle now in use. Yes, the reservoir is small, but if you refill it after you've emptied it, it's ready to go immediately next brew time. Easy to overfill, so unfiltered water goes over and into the main body of the kettle.

The quality of the cuppa I've just drunk far outweighs the inconveniences IMO, but we do live in a very hard water area, so the difference is huge. The bumf in the box says it has a 2 year guarantee if you register it within 28 days. For the price I'm very happy.
Unfortunately I don't trust any products by Morphy Richards-their warranty procedure let me down so it's hardly worth the effort of registering the product
