Rubbish slow cooker. We have one and our old crock pot was loads better.
Best slow cooker we’ve had - we like being able to start recipes off on the hob & then put the bowl into the slow cooker. Definitely saves washing up and can save time too. Good spot!
Same price in Sainsbury’s too at the moment - not a great price though, always around £20 on Amazon.

Why? What's the difference? We have an older ceramic one years old, does well, but was thinking of updating to a newer metal one with a timer

You’re right, but it’s the basic model that’s usually £20. This one is the Sear and Stew model which is usually a bit more.

Fantastic slow cooker I have one and never looked back. Don't trust the naysayers, take it from a very skilled 'cook' that these are great slow cookers.
Should be around £13.

Unfortunately I have to say it was the Sear and Stew too that I got on Amazon a few weeks back for £20. It is a great cooker though and would recommend it.
£5 extra and you can get the 6.5L size from argos. argos.co.uk/pro…134
We have the 6.5L one, a good size to do a nice pork shoulder, love ours would recommend

That's a good price izzy but not the sear and stew model which some people may prefer. I bought this one and then found a 3l one in Tesco for £12 but it was much heavier because of the ceramic inner bowl, whereas this one is metal and much lighter.

That is a good point - this has a very heavy ceramic bowl not suitable for use on the hob or oven!
Have this in red and must say we love it. Meat comes as juicy and moist and falls off the bone. Pulled pork has been consumed a bit too much since this arrived in the house lol.
