I have the blue/black one that I got from Amazon for £130 a few months back and is the same other than the difference in colour. It's a BRILLIANT Steam Generator Iron imho. It has a Auto Descaler where by it gets rid of Limescale automatically pouring the dirty water into a separate compartment at the side and you just empty it out every now and again. No need for buying Anti Calc fillers or... Manually having to turn it upside down and undo a screw and wash it out etc... I had a previous Murphy Richards Steam Generator Iron and that lasted 3 or 4 years and I think I paid around £170 for that. So, I would highly recommend buying a Murphy Richards Steam Generator Iron. I knew someone that had a Tefal one that they paid £299 for and it wasn't as powerful or had the auto clean function as you had to remove the side anti Calc. Filter and clean it. Etc..

Had a feeling that a lot would miss this, as Sat was just so busy with everything going on sports wise Sue! Never mind, just keep your eye out, as if I find some more like it, will share them asap!

Fabulous words and love these real HUKD buyer feedback comments, makes all the time & effort in getting the threads up for others to take advantage of, very worth it!

I have added your review to the OP

I would have added your info up top quicker, but I think they have all been snapped up at £99 now, just leaving it up, in case some of the stock gets put back, from buyers that have not actually gone ahead and paid for them!

That is just the computa at amazon, if it goes to 1-3 months or 1-4 weeks, it is a best seller and the stock is already held, it just takes a bit longer to update where its coming from, to the UK warehouses, if you order, the dates will give you a more accurate date range, on the order summary tab page on the right of your account, not the order page itself, normally 1-3 weeks is about a week
So I need some help here

New to this steam generator world...comes with growing up

Anyway - do you guys know if this steam generator or any steam generator has an in between option.

By that I mean that I will be able to use a normalish type steam option when ironing not so creased items and when I need to iron say totally wrinkled jeans I can press a button for the turbo steam.

I previously bought the tefal fasteo from Amazon and had to return it because it only had to be used with the turbo steam and by that I had to hold down the button. At the end of ironing 4 items the room was full of steam, my face had a proper facial and those 4 gym t shirts that I ironed was ....obviously properly ironed - but it was overkill.

Need to know if there is something out there that I can use a medium steam for every day items and then press a button for turbo when I need to use it...@like a 2-1?

Comments please?

If the steam generator iron is adjustable just use a lower setting or eco mode to use less steam. If it has a sensor it should use less steam for delicate fabrics.
It says delivery with on 1-4 weeks I got clothes to iron can’t wait that long

The tefal one I had was not steam adjustable.

It was either turbo steam or not. The eco mode was a non steam function.
Even called Tefal and there was no in between.

Any of you have a steam iron that offers a normal steam setting and a turbo boost when I need it only?
We had one of these and it stopped working after a couple of years....iron would still heat up but steam wouldn't come out of the iron. We have hard water and it seems to have suffered from limescale blocking the hose to the iron.
orderd thanks

That one seems a DOWNGRADE as it's 6 bar instead of 6.5 bar!
