i will tell ya wen it arrives lol

Cheers for this, my hoover conked out a few days ago and I am having to use an old tatty one with a useless pick up

If you want a lightweight cleaner this might be OK, but for a bargain standard vac this model would be a better bargain. £45 delivered (£78.34 on the MR site). Much more powerful motor.

Hmmmm. Bought a Morphy Richards cleaner about 6 months ago from Argos and it was shoddy. (Not sure if it was this model, came with a turbo brush)

Very fragile plastic and the insulation on the flex CRUMBLED within about three months!

Took it back to Argos, got a refund and bought a Samsung bagless vacuum cleaner for the same price.

The Samsung is well made (For the price), sucks as well as a Dyson and doesn't block so often.

For what it's worth, this is the Morphy Richards vac we took back:

...this is what we replaced it with (Was on special offer at the time):

I need something that can handle pet hair and that aint dyson.

But was it worth £127 in the first place?
I recently bought a £127 Miele to replace what i was told was the dogs ballwarks, a Dyson.
The Miele is superb!

I run a part time business cleaning carpets...IMHO Miele, Sebo and Numatic are the best domestic cleaners you can buy (Although they ain't cheap).

Dyson does not have a good reputation in the business...style over substance etc.

In a recent Which report on vacuum cleaners- Morphy Richards came out worst and they recommended that you don't touch them with a barge pole

any decent offers out there on a Miele, for a tidy cub like me?!
I seem to get through a new vac every 10 months or so!

We have a Miele upright and a Dyson, both **** on each other in different ways, and both are very good at the tasks they are expected to handle. I wouldn't take one over the other as they don't even compare directly. I may as well say our VAX is better than both of them because it sucks water :whistling:

Hoover fanboism, WTH.

what were the best vacs mjscool?
