I'm going with nationwide, they were this price in my local yesterday.
Best donuts from a supermarket hands down! Nomnnomnom.
These are the best donuts bar none from a Supermarket, unfortunately the St Alban's store cannot make enough for the demand so after midday they have completely sold out. The head Baker there says they take something like 3 hours to make.
Been this price for ages now .
My local Tesco do chocolate filled donuts
They used to be so nice, changed the sugar and recipe and now taste cheap. Sainsburys for me!

ye ive tried them they are really good
I've had these Donuts from Morrisons several times and ive always been left underwhelmed by the lack of filling,
also i think ive only ever paid 50p for them so i thought that was the regular price?
I thought the regular price was always 50p ?

It was but they changed it to 60p a while back.
Salted caramel ones are amazing but think they have stopped selling them

It's all the same supplier, the sugar is added after baking which sainsburys use silver spoon caster

I'm going to tell him this, he was perhaps making excuses for the failure of not having enough available.
Tried them yesterday. NASTY. What is that they put on top? Cause that ain’t no sugar normal doughnut.

To say they've run out would be miss management of stock as they have to hold enough stock if they miss/ lose a delivery. In a 3hrs cook time, you could make full sunday dinner with starter and dessert. most in-store bakery's should have some stock made up to last until 6pm after the evening rush. to make donuts from scratch wouldn't be cost effective which is why they are bought in frozen and sold for 50p/60p, a lot of retailers do this for consistency, speed and staff not needing weeks of training

What about the jam? Morrisons has barely any in comparison.

I've only bought the custard, never had a issue, plenty of filling. if it's regular occurrence you'd need to complain for them to address the problem with the supplier
Morrisons cover their doughnuts in icing sugar which I find very unpleasant. If they used normal granulated or caster sugar like proper doughnuts it would make a world of difference.

Totally disagree icing sugar all the way
I’m not being negative or rude but why do people go nuts over a 10p saving?

ahh that old supermarket trick.. inflate the price for a while then sell them at normal price as a 'deal'

I noticed this too. i dont know what it is, it tastes like flour it has no sweetness to it at all, it cant be powdered sugar.
Could be better but Morrison is a disgrace , I complained about the icing sugar they use instead of caster sugar. Got the most stupid answer "this is what most of the customer prefer", that is what one of the most senior managers told me over the phone.
These are extremely dangerous when dipped in tea or coffee
These are the best supermarket doughnuts, the custard are 👌. I stick the spray cream in the apple ones, but not too much as they explode. H x 😋
Good deal, i agree. But i have been buying these doughnuts at this price in my local Morrisons for the best part of TWO years! Nothing new here
Pretty much eat a whole tray of these
They do have a nice fried flavour to the crust. If you can find Apple and Custard in store I recommend buying a pack of each and splitting the doughnut in half and joining the custard half with an apple half - yum!
Looks like I picked the wrong week to start a diet

Best eat it anyway, who cares as long as it tastes so good!

Actually, they don't go nuts, they go donuts!
I usually just wait till they go to 20p reduced (which they always do in my local) . That's about the right price for them.

These are genuinely nothing special. I'd rather have one good doughnut, than 5 very mediocre ones.
