Even if these aren't for you they are great to put a can in the food bank box at most Morrison stores.
Not gonna break the bank to give away one tin.
Let’s all mention food banks to get a few likes lol

Branston ones have sausages?

The Branston 'beans with sausages' tins do. If you like beans on toast and you're not a veggie, try them. Believe it or not, tinned beans and sausages CAN be eaten by 'normal' people even if they aren't so down on their luck that they need the services of a food bank.
Great value and brilliant if you like to purchase things for your local food bank.

Yes I'll be buying a few tins for the food bank. Thanks for posting.🔥
Branston ones are £2 for three tins (66p each) at the moment in Morrison's anyway. A great price for Branston if you are buying them for the food bank, or even (heaven forbid) yourself. /s
It's making me fancy a sausage and bean butty now
The sausages of unknown meat content are nowhere near as nice as Heinz's

that is just cruel.Honestly.
Those using food banks must hate these deals....
Same price in Aldi's if closer - and that's their standard price.

Don't worry, they can just sprinkle on a sweet topping of sanctimony; reading this thread there is more than enough to go around.

So hard up parents inadvertently make their kids put on more weight & be more of a strain on the NHS later in life, or they die earlier in life.

Is it still cruel if the foodbank states that this is the sort of item it needs?

For 10p more you can get Heinz beans with sausage in Asda which are on offer at 50p a tin.
why are you asking me? I believe it is cruel to feed this pig swill to humans, end of.
What do you think? ....up there on your high horse dishing out cans of processed offal in sugar sauce with a helping of 'I am the Lord of gracious benevolence' ..

I bought some Stockwell ones from Tesco ages ago, just got in from the pub and had them on toast, not too bad after 6 pints.
Here's a thought, when you buy something to donate to a food bank shouldn't the supermarket let you have it at cost? Otherwise they make a profit out of a charitable act.

Rant over.

How could they be sure you were donating it and not selling it on. The margins on a lot of supermarket products is small anyway
Had a tin yesterday lunch - surpirisngly fine. Don’t like Tesco’s own brand at all but these went down a treat on toast

A system of trust, like they offer me at scan as you shop

They do offer a vegetarian version, free of pig swill.

I just donate what the foodbank ask for and lots of it.

But they can do random checks whenever they want.

If if you said you were buying for a foodbank they wouldn’t be able to check but if it’s that much of an issue, just donate cash to the foodbank. I’m sure they could would work out their own discounts with the supermarkets

Stock up for Brexit . These will taste divine after youve gone hungry for a month because the sheeple have cleared the shelves and you had no food stocked in the cupboards.

If an animal has been killed for food, the least we can do is make use of everything.
