Treat yourself to a proper roast this weekend with reduced topside at £7/kg at Morrisons. Nothing quite like traditional roast beef and Yorkshire pud for Sunday lunch/dinner.

Available in small, medium and large joints; typically £5.60,£9.10 and £14 respectively.
Why is topside great?
Want to wow your family and friends with an impressive roast? Our topside is just the thing.

Where do we get our beef from?
We source our meat direct from British farmers we know and trust, so we know exactly where it comes from.

What to wash it down with¿
Enjoy with a glass of Morrisons Rich & Juicy Côtes du Rhône, this fruity wine was made for roast beef.

This prime, lean cut needs to best rested for around half an hour after it's been cooked. Serve it with seasonal veg.

It's been posted before op.

This has been on for a while but despite going 3 times could never find any. I even emailed them to see if it was area specific but it's not. Seems to be one of those offers with limited stock to get people in store.

The last time posted was slightly different price and was posted as "beef joint" without specifying the cut. I checked as have been caught out like this before. I've found that you're most likely to get deals like this if you get there early. They do sell out quickly which is why there is often none left.

Loads in the Cwmbran store this morning, on the butchers counter and in three other places, also Joints priced between about £5.40 - £11.00 on display thou you can buy bigger or smaller from the counter. - Welsh Beef .
A kilo sized piece isn't very big thou, so quite an expensive joint, I bought a piece priced at £7.94 and there's four of us, It does look really good quality thou and being Welsh is local to me..Always prefer to buy local produce if it's available and pricing permits .

Well I finally got some today at last! They were selling silverside, topside and top rump at this price. I bought a small joint cos my freezer is totally packed but I wasn't impressed.
It looked very red and without any marbling. I don't know where ours came from (I'm in Sussex) but it'll need careful cooking and resting I think not to be tough as old boots.....
