Definitely instore, picked up 5 bottles of baltika, haven't had it in over 4 years, no idea why it was stopped being sold in supermarkets
Fantastic deal. Cheers op
Not really trying with their beer festival these days. Same old beers.

Yup, if I had to take one, it would be the Thwaite's, but it's a pretty poor selection.
Majority of those beers are average at best.
Thanks, will stock up for my Dad he loves Spitfire and Newky Brown
Was in my local before and spotted these plus a few others. Pretty much the standard price for most of them as the same selection usually rotates round some kind of £1 each offer every few weeks. They are hardly ever sold at the alleged full price.
Ripping deal, some decent beer on here at last, and cheap.
Spitfire is always £1 in my local Morrisons. But Newcastle Brown is a proper bargain. Heat from me.
Very, very average beers. I'd much rather utlise their 4 for £6 deal which includes proper hoppy beers like Oakham Citra and Adnam's Ghost Ship.

Yup, me too, time to stock up.
Baltica now made by Scottish and Newcastle
Their beer festival used to be so much better and get some different beers in, so was very disappointed to find this was it.

Lidl seem to make a lot more effort on this front a couple of times a year now!

Great deal on some decent beers

None of them are decent, even bud is better then that sorry selection
These all look pretty grim to me
wainwright £1 absolute steal......will be stocking up big time
Tread carefully. My local branches only had Spitfire and Newcy Brown. Fine if you love those two, not so much if you were more keen on the Wainwright and Hen.
Thanks for this a few like will have a pop in to my local! Heat

Don't see why not as would still be within minimum pricing.
That's a poor selection compared to the last years mix

I wonder if in store they'll be doing some more "local to store" stuff.
They do seem to have added a few to the instore '4 for £6' range as well, e.g. mine has Dartmoor Jail Ale, Hawkshead Lakeland Gold (which aren't usually in midlands stores) plus a few more Northern/Welsh ones.

Pity no stout !!

They are also doing Wild Beer Wilderbeest 11% Stout for £2.50 a bottle. It's fantastic tasting and a steal at that price. Also lots of Siren Craft Brew, Northern Monk and other IPA's and Pales on offer

Where is this ??
I tend to pick up things like Old Tom or McEwans Champion, just because they're commonly available and I tend to drink lower quantities and higher ABV.

Sometimes go for a strong IPA, milk stout, or chocolatey porter.

Any recommendations, folks?

Spitfire is a really tasty best bitter style beer. I like it a lot from the bottles.
