Morrison's have their own slaughter houses, so I assume they are Morrison's own.
The sausages are the reason i stopped having a breakfast there. Nasty cheap things.

Tesco have their own slaughter horses.
We have some brilliant meals at Morrisons cafe with our grandchildren after taking them swimming. Salmon and Hollandaise sauce, huge Lamb Shank dinner, 2 brews/hot chocolate, and two FREE children's home-cooked meals with healthy salads, including their drinks and a snack each - ALL for about a tenner. And choice of huge puddings or desserts for £1. Can't beat eating that out anywhere! X)
Is this really such a good deal?

Some people perhaps enjoy being taken out wherever they happen to go, perhaps they don't expect lots to be spent upon them, and thereby might grow up a little more humble. But each to their own I suppose.

Or when they go out for a meal they want to eat something they couldn't make to a higher standard at home for most likely less money. Which is how I tend to treat eating out.

In which case Morrison's Cafe ain't gonna cut it.

How many of you have tried the Morrison's meals recently? At least they are freshly cooked and there is a choice of good honest food - not just burgers. They do offer excellent fish and chips as one of the many options, as well as those mentioned above. There can be a degree of snobbery about eating out with children - we judge by personal experience - and it's just a nice treat after taking them swimming. Brilliant play area at Leyland too - the whole cafe has recently been refurbished.

My local butcher says he won't eat any other butchers' sausages because he doesn't know what goes into them. He also says he won't eat his because because he does know what goes into them!

I assumed the parent comment was meant to be taken lightly. Do humble people ordinarily take life too seriously perhaps?

Anyway, humble my fat ass, what's wrong with feeling special once in a while? take your family somewhere nice.

I've got a local Morrison's cafe and its a pleasant place to eat, lots of families and elderly too. Food is reasonably priced and tastes alright. Having read some other comments, I'm not sure what more people expect for the price of the food and I agree, it does seem snobbish.
If you were to listen to every comment on this site about X food being dodgy or tasting like rubbish you would not be able to eat anything because apparently all food is dodgy and of poor quality, personally I find the sausages taste pretty much the same as standard sausages I'd buy anywhere else.
Never tasted a sausage yet that I didnt like even the rubbish ones; Lager is Lager Coffee is Coffee all taste the same .
