It's been many years since I last ate at a Morrisons.

Is it still as high quality, and cooked fresh to order, with the food being brought out to your table? Or is it a lot more basic these days?

Voted hot regardless, as even if it is basic, £10 for all that sounds like a good deal to me.

We’ve been a few times to our local one and I was very disappointed, over cooked, under seasoned, deep fried and cheap.

Tesco is much much better in my opinion. They also have a good record of consistency across their cafes .
Decent food in the 3 iv visited recently , really good burgers better than spoons imo

I think it said after 3pm so after kids finish school. Im guessing its on everyday in week not sure about weekend.
Had breakfast in Morrisons Camden last Saturday - For time it took to arrive I expected freshly cooked, but it was lukewarm with cold toast and over cooked poached egg. Sausage was a cheap variety, but actually very nice. No mustard available despite there being loads of it in the aisle the other side of the tills. Portions were small especially the micro sized Hash-Browns and small pot of beans. For £4.70 without a drink, I could have got much better value at a greasy spoon cafe. Could be much much better if they tried.

Best supermarket cafe. Yes fresh food and individually prepared. Breakfasts great, salads and fish good, also sandwiches very fresh.
My nearest Morrisons Cafe isn't the best, like someone else has said, food was cold and waiting nearly an hour for food, even when not busy. My next nearest one though, is much better, you're served warm food quicker and has the added bonus of the barista bar in it.

Don't rate my local tesco cafe. flies all over the eating area. shame, as it never used to be that way. But voting for this anyway

Thank You, great to know that it would be worth eating there once again the next time I get the chance to visit.
Old deal - been like this for years - heat for the reminder i guess!

Have to disagree know someone who works for them said most of it is reheated from the freezer so not very "fresh". Only thing they actually make fresh is the battered fish that they do their and then. To be honest I suppose what do you expect for £10 it's also pretty much standard practice at these cheap food outlets to use prepared food.
Our local Morrison’s cafe isn’t too bad seems to depend who’s cooking as to whether it’s edible but we went for breakfast the other week I was asked how I wanted my egg cooked asked for scrambled was told they didn’t have scrambled today just poached or fried :/
So how much is this per person?
They don't melt the cheese in the cheeseburger?!
heat
Yaay. Dirty cutlery, sticky tables and a free black curly hair with every main.

What a deal!
Cold. I expect michelin star meal quality for this price. Thats what im comparing it to rather than the cost of the food vs elsewhere like i should.

I would actually say the food was actually i believe the word the kids use is “lit”
Mine's always run out of something or another. I'm sure it's run as a separate concern to the supermarket, but it does seem funny that if they run out of something like pineapple for example, they can't just go and get a tin from the shelves.

Not sure if you have to wait until after 3pm but this does seem better than the usual 'kids eat free'. In my local store, that offer only applies for mains over £4.50 (and most of them aren't).

I think I read that the main has to be over £4 for this deal to work.

I liked your comment because you've shown yourself to have high taste and I want to feel like I do too, even though secretly I know that this is excellent value.
i was told only certain food is included in the £10 offer .
in my local, it's kids eat free after 3pm.
Would be a good deal if the food was actually edible. Have tried on more than one occasion in my local as I believe in giving them more than one chance. The 3 times I've been I was disappointed. Never again for me unfortunately.
Offers on every weekday and saturday. Not Sunday because hot food stops at 3pm.
No point making a broad judgement about the quality of food when of course it will vary from store to store. Of course most of it will be pre-prepared but it will depend on the microwave operator.

Cold toast
Had nothing but awful food from Morrisons cafes and I've tried 3 across the country. Sainsburys wins every time even if they skimp on the portions!

Not as good as when I used to go years ago, breakfast takes ages .....
But trying out the 2 adults 2 children offer today..
Good price for famlies that are on a budget and wouldn't be able to take the kids out for a meal otherwise,it doesn't matter where it is the kids will still enjoy doing that with their family and regard it as a treat
Bit of a distance to travel but Morrisons cafe in Gibraltar was good last time I visited. They have a bar and tables out side in the sun. Not sure if this offer is on there at the moment so do check before visiting.
