Morrisons launches its Christmas voucher saving scheme on Monday, giving shoppers the chance to earn up to 21,750 Match & More points (Worth £21.75)

It is different this year in that you earn points with every weeks shopping and you don't have to do them all to earn points, though if you redeem 5 out of 6 you earn a bonus of 15,000 points.

When I shopped today I got a print out of 6 coupons, one to take in each week.

Week 1: 2nd November to 8th November
1,500 points when you spend £50 or more in store or online.

Week 2: 9th November to 15th November
750 points when you spend £50 or more in store or online.

Week 3: 16th November to 22nd November
1,500 points when you spend £50 or more in store or online.

Week 4: 23rd November to 29th November
750 points when you spend £50 or more in store or online.

Week 5: 30th November to 6th December
1,500 points when you spend £50 or more in store or online.

Week 6: 7th December to 13th December
750 points when you spend £50 or more in store or online.

Redeem 5 of your 6 weekly coupons and get 15,000 bonus points.

To use In-store: spend required amount and hand over coupon with your Match & More card.
To use Online: spend required amount, receive your delivery before the expiry date on the coupon and they will credit your account with the points value stated. No online code required.

Only one coupon may be used per transaction. Excludes fuel, infant milk, kiosk, plastic carrier bag charges & fireworks. T&Cs and further exclusions apply. Coupons can only be used by the customer who received them and Match & More card must be shown. 5 out of 6 coupons must be redeemed with the correct Match & More card to qualify for Bonus Points. Points will be added to your account within 72 hours of qualifying purchase.

Looks interesting

I shop at Morrisons but I think they have sadly lost their direction and it won't be long until they disappear into the quagmire of Kwiksave, Safeway, Gateway, et al. Their loyal shoppers never needed a points card and the new ones have slipped back to Aldi/Lidl along with the 'price match' that now is no longer in existence.

So I have to spend £250 over 5 weeks to get less than 10% off..no thanks

Yea, I probably wont do 5 out of the 6 because we don't eat that much food but I'll get the extra points for the probably 2 weeks we'll do.
Only worth doing if you shop there already and spend that much.

my offer is different I have three weeks giving me 1000 points and 3 weeks giving me 500 points?

Not keen on this, it is not worth as much as previous christmas scheme and you have to spend more each week as well. People are not swayed by loyality schemes anymore they want cheaper prices.

Honestly, this is a bad deal. Based on £5 for every 5000 points this is what you get...

Week 1 - £1.50 off £50 spend
Week 2 - 75p off £50 spend
Week 3 - £1.50 off £50 spend
Week 4 - 75p off £50 spend
Week 5 - £1.50 off £50 spend
Week 6 - 75p off £50 spend
Reedeem 5 weeks of coupons to get £15 voucher

So assuming you collect coupons from week 1 to 5 you get £6
Plus the 5 week redemption means you spend £250 just to earn a £21 voucher oO

- No thanks I would prefer an immediate £6 off £40 spend at Tesco or £3 off £20 spend at Sainsburys although hard to shop at Sainsburys as they have less offers and product prices are higher

The last couple of years it was collect so many vouchers and get £40 off your Xmas shop, this year is rubbish

Absolute rubbish i was only saying earlier when i was in morrisons once i claim the £110 vouchers i have saved up over the last year i will no longer be shopping at Morrisons they've shot themselves in the foot and made a mockery of the m&m card so sod ya......

Doesn't look great to be fair

Locally we share vouchers on freecycle - no longer possible with this promotion

Great if they aint shutting down your two nearest morrissons a month before christmas after being there for 4.9 years. Wont wait until after christmas to close the stores because..... ALAS, THAT WOULD MEAN PAYING YOUR STAFF FIVE YEARS REDUNDANCY PAY RATHER THAN FOUR!! HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO MORRISSONS AND ALL YOUR STAFF!!!!!! NOT

that's not even 10 % really poor heat for you for letting people know not to get ripped off

I got mine but each one had to be a £60 spend which I don't spend each week!!

Awful deal no wonder their doing so badly

Like I said, only worth doing if you normally do your shopping there. Not worth switching supermarkets for.

Got my vouchers this week and i have to spend £60 per shop. Spent over that this week hence the reason why i got his value of vouchers (i think). Ok if you spend that every week but i dont. Points are changing from Monday too. You now have to spend £1000 before you get a £5 voucher. Totally not worth it. Bye bye morrisons.

This is rough, I often get vouchers for 6 or 8 off £40 shop from Tesco and waitrose. Also waitrose has £30 off a £100 spend for new customers.

Also don't forget my waitrose pick your own offers

Mine are on an £80 spend each week to get 34,000 points total but I normally spend £60-£70 so not worth it for me

Apparently some are for £30 spend, so unfair for everyone. My mam didnt even get the vouchers today when I did, mine is for over £50 spend when I only usually spent £35-40.

yeah, I got my offer in the post today and it's for 3000 points for a £30 spend over 4 weeks. I have long since stopped shopping there however. First offer I have had from them in over a year!

The one I got was for an £80 minimum spend every week for 5 weeks for a total of 34,000 points total. Pretty poor... £34 off if you manage to spend £400 on groceries between their specific weekly dates.

Mine is 4000 points per week for £40 spend per week

Wife,s is 5000 points for a £50 spend.

Seeing as how we're away at the moment and don't get back till late Saturday 31st :-
How do you get the vouchers in the first place? Or rather, how much do I have to spend on Sunday to get these vouchers before shopping on Monday to 'cash the first one in' ?
Or do they come in the post?

They come in the post (a booklet of 6 vouchers) and it seems that everyone is getting different minimum spends and 'rewards' depending on their normal spend. My mum got hers today and can get 19,500 points overall for a £40 spend/week (1,000 points some weeks and 500 points on others with a 15,000 points bonus after collecting/using 5/6 vouchers).

Definitely not as good as previous years but still better than nothing if you spend that anyway. Hope that helps.http://www.picgifs.com/smileys/smileys-and-emoticons/pumpkins/smileys-pumpkins-973711.gif

Just got back home to find the vouchers on the doormat.
It's a £60 per week spend here, but we will do that easily, and we get a 20,000 point bonus too.
Not too good, but better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick!

We have to £90 spend each week for 5 weeks to get £25 in vouchers plus upto a maximum of 10,000 points. Previous years have been £40 per week for 5 weeks. We have been loyal customers for many years but will be trying somewhere else now.

how werid they are doing different amounts for different proper.mines not too bad as its a £40 spend.

The £40 spend is the best one (around 9.5%) yet the £30 and £60 are worse and both the same (around 8.5%). Who the hell does these calculations they make no sense. Seems you get worse offers the more you spend there, so in fact you are worse off for being a loyal customer..................

Mine match the OP's we usually shop at Morrisons as I found the Old match and More Good, usually getting 1000 points or so on a £40 spend.
Preferred the old system as we could "help" kids etc out with theirs.
In a years we've accumulated £100 of vouchers. On the new scheme I expect to get £10 plus £15 for Fuel, no way to reward loyalty, they also said they'd be emailing lots of vouchers out for extra points, I've had none so far

Every1 has took there time t have a little moan on here if ya dunt like the offer no1 has a gun to your head I've got my normal shops in per week and been handed £20 for doing it thanks morrisons

not recived bonus points

Tell Morrisons if you have a problem, they'll sort it for you.
We got ours on Sunday (£25 in total) and have saved the rest up all year, all together we have £205 to spend on the Christmas shop !
(IE a freebie, and a bit besides THANKS MORRISONS)

As a couple of pensioners I received the Christmas Money saving coupons but unlike most people we were required to spend £90 each week (5 out of 6). What a ridiculous thing to send us. Why does everyone else only have to spend £40 or £50 a week to qualify??? Or do Morrisons have something against pensioners? If so our local store will be alomst empty!!

I would have to send £60 per week to get my Chritmas bonus I won't be spending anything like that amount in Morrisons ever again from now on I'll shop at Aldi where all customers are treated equally

Having used my 5th out of the 6 vouchers last Sunday (the last day of the event) can anyone tell me when and how you get the bonus points for using at least 5 out of 6 ? I certainly didn't get them last Sunday and i can seem to find anything that tells you what happens now..

Got mine at the till. 5 lovely £5 vouchers.

Beefsteak44 - but when did you get it at the till?? Was it the next time you shopped or when you entered your last voucher?? I emailed customer services to ask what happens - they sent a customary reply that they would reply shortly - but haven't.

We used the last voucher on Monday 7th and got the vouchers the next time we shopped on Sunday 13th
