Morrisons Chunky Steak Pie 50p each.
They had them individually at 50p, but I bought the 2 pack for £1.

Can’t find them on their website at all.
Think this is half price for pie week.
Would expect it to be national as there was a lot of promotional signage advertising it.

They have never had them on their website for some reason and have always been in store only.
They are the best steak pies you can get without making your own.
Yes, they had these in Bude this morning, although it was about the only thing that they had, it still looks like a plague of locusts have been through the shop due to the aftermath of the snow!

Yes from their bakery or pie shop thing.
Morrisons still empty shelves in my local shop, very poor now.
A friend bought some of these into work the other day for us, they were tasteless with hardly any steak in them, was not impressed.

he/she got the bad one. they really are good!
I wouldnt call them great...... fairly average steak pie, wouldnt even say its significantly better than a pukka.

However, when they have been reduced to 2 for 50p at the end of the day, I still gobble them up.
My local Morrisons pie counter is usually bare. They never have enough stock and they usually have the special offers advertised but don't have any available.

I used to work on a Morrisons pie counter in my student days and would never of been allowed to let my stock get that low. Not sure whether it's just my local store or this is now the norm for Morrisons.
Never found any meat in em yet! Plenty of gravy and very nice pastry but no meat.
Worst pies ever. Crumbly crust thin flavoured gravy and pathetic amount of meat. Still hot tho because its a pie for 50p,
Excellent steak pies and two for a quid=Great deal.
I think that the people saying there is very little meat and thin gravy are not getting the "Chunky Steak Pie". They do several other steak pies which are completely different to the Chunky Steak ones, so try a Chunky Steak pie and you will realise that you were mistaken. Those Pukka Pies are not a patch on them.

How daft of me, I stupidly thought the ones that say Chunky Steak on the label are the chunky steak ones. Thanks for kindly pointing out my stupidity, I feel really daft now.
No problem SirDoss, I am happy I could help, as the labels are often incorrect or are covered by various stickers, so maybe your friend had made a mistake or put them in a different bag as I am sure you would not have said they were tasteless and had hardly any steak in them if you had tried a proper one.

I remember a guy once suing a supermarket for selling him something labelled as being a cheese and onion pie which turned out to be a pork pie, being a muslim he was very unhappy as he had probably never tasted anything so good before or since.

The pies themselves are imprinted as well, as can be seen by the picture posted by Chanchi32, unlike the inferior pies that you have obviously mistaken for the real chunky steak ones.

I hope you're being sarcastic
A little tongue in cheek but I am sure you either got one that someone had stolen the meat from or a different one, as I do not know anyone who thought there was very little meat in them or that they didn't like them, unless they were vegetarian or vegan of course
I'd go with a duff batch as although the last lot did have the relevant writing on the label and lid of the pie, we've just been supplied with another batch and not only was the filling much better but the pastry was also different. 😁 Unless these have got the wrong label on and they're really chicken and mushroom

Think this may need to be expired as I found the 2 pack had doubled in price to £2 at the start of this week! I therefore assume the single pie version (I couldn't find any of those in my store) is now £1 and not 50p anymore, particularly if "pie week" is now over.

[In fact, the picture someone has posted above says "Ends 11/3" (I can confirm I visited on 12/3) although it says whilst stocks last so pre-existing stock may remain scanning at the offer price for as long as it exists (even if it is beyond 11/3) - however I doubt that stocks of this fresh item would have lasted anywhere and still be available at 50p now.]
